I think he needs a news-teleprompter on his golf cart. This idiot is running our country.
Montage: Obama Discovers Every Scandal Through the Media
Obama knows nothing, sees nothing, and hears nothing unless his lapdogs bark, then his ears perk up. Not exactly using a hunting dog to flush out the truth, is he? Kind of reminds me of that famous Will Rogers quote: “All I know is just what I read in the papers, and that’s an alibi for my ignorance.”
The head of a government that has the most sophisticated spying apparatus ever created can monitor who we talk to, what we talk about, how many twinkies our kids eat and the calories we consume, where we travel, etc. etc., yet announces our President’s daily Intelligence report is actually prepared by Matt Drudge. Hmmm. Perhaps the NSA should take out ads in the sports section to assure the President reads his morning Intelligence briefing.
Here’s a quick video of our Community Organizer-in-Chief explaining his lack of knowledge of the nation’s major scandals, using his favorite convenient excuse and perhaps also saying much about his management skills with a dysfunctional, disinterested staff. What do you think?
In the history books, they say the Russians believed Stalin had no idea of the terror going on and they wrote him thousands of letters trying to tell him about it, asking him for help and intervention. Oh, those suckers….
Krauthammer on Obama’s Response to VA Scandal: “The Buck Stops Nowhere”
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: I think what it is, it’s an epidemic of incompetence and neglect because –precisely because as every one of these other scandals unfolded the administration mouths words about accountability, talks about responsibility, some people like the Secretary of State, even the president, say the buck stops here, but the buck stops nowhere because no one pays, no one is fired, no one is demoted. The only person who got hurt in the Benghazi affair, hurt in terms of his career, was the guy in Tripoli, [Gregory] Hicks, the man who blew the whistle, the man who essentially heard his colleague dying at the other end of the phone, essentially. He got demoted because he said the truth. And that’s what happens. Once that happens, it becomes epidemic and no one is responsible for anything so why should anybody stick their neck out?
Obama knew about the VA problems, and did nothing. 20 vets, people that fought for this country, died as a result. Add that to the running total of people that have died because of Obama.
Let’s see: 20 vets dead, 4 staff (including an ambassador) dead in Benghazi, 130 innocent children dead from Obama drone strikes. Countless dead in Mexico from assault rifles given by Holder/Obama. Countless dead at the hands of Al Qaeda in Libya and Syria from cash and arms given by Obama and Hillary. Time for impeachment and trials for treason.
Obama transition team was told about 3 audits showing VA misreported wait times
Inspector frustrated with efforts to dire situation
President Obama’s transition team was warned in 2008 that repeated audits showed the Veterans Affairs Department was misreporting wait times for medical treatment, including one audit revealing delays nearly 10 times worse than the department was officially acknowledging.
The situation was so bad that the inspector general said it stopped trying to police the issue until the VA could prove its information was accurate — raising a red flag for the transition team, according to documents obtained by The Washington Times.
The documents, obtained under a Freedom of Information Act request, show the problem extended back to at least the middle of the Bush administration but remained unresolved when Mr. Obama won election in 2008, and the VA was unable to say this week whether it ever took any steps to correct the problems.
According to the documents, the VA inspector general told the Obama transition team of three audits dating back to 2005 that revealed significant problems with wait times and scheduling.
One of those audits showed an instance in which the department reported 2,900 veterans waited more than a month for medical appointments. The actual figure was closer to 28,000 veterans, according to the auditors.
“Through a series of audits, the OIG has repeatedly demonstrated that [the Veterans Health Administration] reported wait times could not be relied upon and the electronic waiting lists were not complete,” the inspector general’s office for the VA told the Obama-Biden transition team.
Wait times were one factor used to dole out bonuses to VA executives.
The inspector general offered a number of recommendations to try to help the department establish accurate wait times, including calling for testing to gauge the times, and taking steps to ensure “informal waiting lists” weren’t being used. The VA rejected both recommendations in May 2008, when the Bush administration was in office.

Not only are your tax dollars going to fund 6 million more FSA on Medicaid thanks to Obamacare, but now YOU are bailing out health insurance companies. Obamacare bailouts are starting already.
Critics call Obama funding plan for health insurer losses a ‘bailout’
The Obama administration has quietly adjusted key provisions of its signature healthcare law to potentially make billions of additional taxpayer dollars available to the insurance industry if companies providing coverage through the Affordable Care Act lose money.
The move was buried in hundreds of pages of new regulations issued late last week. It comes as part of an intensive administration effort to hold down premium increases for next year, a top priority for the White House as the rates will be announced ahead of this fall’s congressional elections.
Administration officials for months have denied charges by opponents that they plan a “bailout” for insurance companies providing coverage under the healthcare law.
They continue to argue that most insurers shouldn’t need to substantially increase premiums because safeguards in the healthcare law will protect them over the next several years.
If conservatives want to stop the illegal Obamacare insurance bailout before it starts they must start planning now. – Conn Carroll, an editor of the right-leaning news site Townhall.com
But the change in regulations essentially provides insurers with another backup: If they keep rate increases modest over the next couple of years but lose money, the administration will tap federal funds as needed to cover shortfalls.
Although little noticed so far, the plan was already beginning to fuel a new round of attacks Tuesday from the healthcare law’s critics.
“If conservatives want to stop the illegal Obamacare insurance bailout before it starts they must start planning now,” wrote Conn Carroll, an editor of the right-leaning news site Townhall.com.
On Capitol Hill, Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee began circulating a memo on the issue and urging colleagues to fight what they are calling “another end-run around Congress.”
Obama administration officials said the new regulations would not put taxpayers at risk. “We are confident this three-year program will not create a shortfall,” Health and Human Services spokeswoman Erin Shields Britt said in a statement. “However, we want to be clear that in the highly unlikely event of a shortfall, HHS will use appropriations as available to fill it.”
The stakes are high for President Obama and the healthcare law.
Although more than 8 million people signed up for health coverage under the law, exceeding expectations, insurance companies in several states have been eyeing significant rate increases for next year amid concerns that their new customers are older and sicker than anticipated.
Insurers around the country have started to file proposed 2015 premiums, just as the midterm campaigns are heating up. Obamacare, as the law is often called, remains a top campaign issue, and big premium increases in states with tightly contested races could prove politically disastrous for Democrats.
If rates go up dramatically, consumers may also turn away from insurance marketplaces in some states, leading to their collapse.

Obama’s a fool, an ass clown, and a compulsive liar. The Republicans have his ass surrounded and he’s going to go down. Obama has scandals breaking out everywhere, he will not be able to control them all, one of them will be his undoing, it’s really getting interesting now.
The question I would like to hear him answer is- When did you first find out you were going to be impeached?
He’s the same Obama who got elected twice. His popularity’s down from 51% to ~ 40%, but otherwise the same. I don’t mind (or even care) whether the Republicans keep trying to go after him over Benghazi or the VA “scandal”, but they’re wasting their time and their focus because most people don’t give a shit. Dems are making a joke out of it – screaming “Benghazi !” like Republicans made a joke out of Bush Derangement Syndrome by screaming “Booooosh !”. Obama won’t be impeached or forced to resign. The stuff that bugs us (FSA payouts, government boondoggles) is the stuff that his supporters like – “spreading (your) wealth around”. The best hope we have is that even his supporters start to ignore him just because he’s gotten too annoying.
WTF is the purpose of the Benghazi investigation? To show that Obama & his people lied about the attack? Really? You need a committee to prove Obama’s a liar?
A Phalanx of Lies
By Mark Steyn
CNN has been pondering what they call “a particularly tough few days at the White House.” “Four out of five Americans have little or no trust in their government to do anything right,” says chief political analyst Gloria Borger. “And now Obama probably feels the same way.” Our hearts go out to him, poor wee disillusioned thing. We are assured by the headline writers that the president was “unaware” of Obamacare’s website defects, and the NSA spying, and the IRS targeting of his political enemies, and the Justice Department bugging the Associated Press, and pretty much anything else you ask him about. But, as he put it, “nobody’s madder than me” at this shadowy rogue entity called the “Government of the United States” that’s running around pulling all this stuff. And, once he finds out who’s running this Government of the United States rogue entity, he’s gonna come down as hard on him as he did on that videomaker in California; he’s gonna send round the National Park Service SWAT team to teach that punk a lesson he won’t forget.
Gloria Borger and CNN seem inclined to swallow the line that the president of the United States is not aware that he is president of the United States: For the media, just a spoonful of bovine manure makes the Obamacare medicine go down. It remains to be seen whether the American citizenry will be so genially indulgent. Hitherto, most of what the president claims to be unaware of, they are genuinely unaware of: Few people have plans to vacation in Benghazi, or shoot the breeze with Angela Merkel on her cell phone. But Obamacare is different: Whether or not the president is unaware of it, the more than 2 million Americans (at the time of writing) kicked off their current health-care plans are most certainly aware of it.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been opposed to government health care because, as I’ve said in at least two books, it fundamentally redefines the relationship between the citizen and the state into one closer to that of junkie and pusher. But that’s a philosophical position. Others prefer constitutional arguments: The federal government does not have the authority to do what it’s doing. Dear old John Roberts, chief justice of the United States, twisted himself into a pretzel to argue that, in fact, the government does. But he might as well have saved himself the trouble and just used Nancy Pelosi’s line: Asked by a journalist where in the Constitution it granted the feds the power to do this, she gave him the full Leslie Nielsen and said, “You’re not serious?” She has the measure of her people. Most Americans couldn’t care less about philosophical arguments or constitutional fine print: For them, all Obamacare has to do is work. That is why the last month has been so damaging to Big Government’s brand: In entirely non-ideological, technocratic, utilitarian terms, Obamacare is a bust.
The Canadian and British health systems get by on the principle that, as bad as they are, for enough people they’re good enough, and you don’t have to think about it. Obamacare doesn’t even meet that modest standard, and it’s not clear it ever will. You have to think about it constantly, alert to every potentially catastrophic regulatory tweak that might scuttle your next prescription refill. On Day One, the junkies were eager for their fix: As the administration crowed, the site received 4.7 million unique visits. By the following morning, the HHS “war room” was informed that “six enrollments have occurred so far.” That’s six as in half a dozen, as in fewer people than in just one vehicle of Obama’s 40-car motorcade. Kathleen Sebelius had successfully enrolled one American for every assistant secretary of health and human services. Oh, no, wait: She has seven assistant secretaries, so there was one free, waiting for that seventh enrollee. One in every 783,333 visitors managed to close the deal: Dr. Obama could make house calls to every one and still have time for a round of golf.
You need a committee to prove a cover up. Trey Gowdy is the right man for the job. He’s going to have closed door depositions so one lying bastard won’t know what the other lying bastard has fessed up to. Gowdy’s like a pit bull and he smells blood. He will chase these lawless fucks back to the gates of hell from whence they came.
