I make it a point to go on a few liberal blogs a couple of times a week. It is very entertaining in small doses. I here the constant lament of how the president gets so little respect with the fabulous job he is doing. They constantly harp about the right wing media, as if all the media is right wing. The delusion is complete and intractable and any comment that attempts top burst their bubble is met with the hue and cry of racism and right wing Christian, homophobic bigot. Anything that is wrong with the government/economy is the evil right wing republicans. If they would just get out of the way and let Obama do his job everything would be A-OK. I would be sad if it were not so funny. I truly believe that this president could draft their children and send them off to war and they would be OK with it.
Bob.

I have a new plan. I’m weary of trying to reason with them. I’m not going to list his many usurpations, his first-ever capitation tax, his crushing (and worse, stupid) regulations, his impulse to control everything we do, say, eat, think or feel. I’ll no longer explain my objections to his favoring government employees (with his student loan forgiveness schemes and HUD’s “Good Neighbor” 1/2 off for cops). I’ll just say, “yup – I hate him because he’s black”. They think it anyway, and they won’t listen to anything to the contrary. So I might as well just go with it.

Iska,
I may have to start using your method, it is so much easier, and your right, they think it automatically anyway.

I thought this was going to be a commentary about Timmy Geithner, or even better, Robert Rubin.

Two-Thirds Of Americans Do Not Back Obama’s Decision On Bergdahl
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 06/10/2014 12:09 -0400
In a week dominated by headlines of heroes and D-Day celebrations, we suspect President Obama was hoping for a patriotic bump in his ratings… but as The Hill reports, people in the United States say President Obama paid too high a price for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, and largely disapprove of the administration’s handling of the swap, according to a pair of new polls. Only 34% of those polled (by USA Today/ Pew) backed Obama’s decision as ‘the right thing’ but more crucially, it appears the President’s ongoing push towards tyranny that is most worrisome as 72% said Obama should have informed Congress before making the deal.
As The Hill reports,
People in the United States say President Obama paid too high a price for the release of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, and largely disapprove of the administration’s handling of the swap, according to a pair of new polls.
Some 45 percent of those surveyed in a CBS News poll said they disapprove of the detainee swap, with 37 percent backing the move. A sizable 18 percent remain undecided on the issue.
Those findings are largely echoed by a USA Today / Pew Research poll, in which 43 percent of people said Obama should not have made the trade, with just 34 percent backing it as the right thing to do.
But a significant majority — 72 percent — said President Obama should have informed Congress before approving the deal. Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have criticized the president for ignoring a legal requirement that Congress is informed 30 days before the transfer of any detainees at Guantanamo Bay. The president freed five Taliban prisoners held at the prison in exchange for Bergdahl.
A majority of those surveyed also said Obama paid too high a price for his release. Of those surveyed, 56 percent say Obama gave up too much while 28 percent said the terms were reasonable. That includes nearly two-thirds — 65 percent — of veterans who said the price was too high.
Veterans in the USA Today survey were also among the most likely to express anger with Bergdahl himself, who is accused of abandoning his post in Afghanistan before his capture by the Taliban. Some 33 percent said they were angry with Bergdahl, while just 6 percent said they sympathized with him.
Overall Obama’s approval rating was unchanged on the month as minimum wage pressure in Seattle, student loan bailouts, and immigration handouts trumped any negatives from the Bergdahl swap…

President Obama Makes History By Accomplishing 100% of His Domestic Agenda
By: Jason Easley more from Jason Easley
Actual quote from the article;
“In the face of such day to day frustration over the Republican refusal to govern, it is easy to forget how much that this president has achieved. He has ended two wars, been bold on education reform, put the economy back on track, and most importantly has delivered a healthcare reform that has helped hundreds of millions of Americans beyond the newly insured.”
You truly cannot make this stuff up.

Brilliant strategy, Iska. Think of the time it will save in arguing with idiots.
Hillary Clinton? “She’s a woman.” Sexist asshole.
Climate change? “The science is bullshit.” Flat earther,
Putin? “I admire a strong, principled leader.” Communist.
Gun control? “I might need it to defend against a tyrannical government.” Anarchist.
The list is endless. Additional suggestions welcome.

Any member of Congress House of Reps – any – can move to impeach the president. That being the case, how is it that not one – not a single one- has moved a motion to do so given the the Negro in Chief has broken his oath of office so many times. His latest disregard of Congressional law, and his total disregard for the Obamacare law, would seem sufficient for motion to at least be made by someone.
It is truly disgusting that there are no men of principle anywhere.
