PARAGRAPH THE SUMS UP OUR WORLD TODAY

“The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences. The apex of the system was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world’s central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world.”

A nation of stupid engaged in perpetual pursuit of global monsters to slay will inevitably murder the very Republic they so fervently claim to defend.

[America] well knows that by once enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself, beyond the power of extrication, in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy, and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standard of freedom.

The fundamental maxims of her policy would insensibly change from liberty to force. The frontlet upon her brows would no longer beam with the ineffable splendor of freedom and independence; but in its stead would soon be substituted an imperial diadem, flashing in false and tarnished lustre the murky radiance of dominion and power.

Secretary of State John Quincy Adams

She might become the dictatress of the world: she would be no longer the ruler of her own spirit.

Going “abroad in search of monsters to destroy” is making more monsters

No one can save a nation of stupid from the the dire consequences of their own self-inflicted ignorance when they insist on meddling in other nations affairs.

This broken 700-ton generator demonstrates everything that went wrong with the reconstruction of Iraq

All this time, Kirkuk continued to face power shortages. By April 2, 2005, MOAG finally reached its destination in Kirkuk after a 640-mile journey through Iraq, with 250 to 300 military personnel accompanying MOAG alongside Humees and a number of helicopters.

Ultimately, all of this work and money was completely wasted.

“[N]obody had bothered to train the Iraqi plant workers in the operations and maintenance of this state-of-the-art generator,” Johnson told The Daily Beast. “So, months after it was handed over in a triumphant ribbon-cutting ceremony, the generator was broken.”

Today, Kirkuk is at the frontline in the fight against ISIS. Kurdish forces took over the city in June of 2014 shortly after ISIS blitzed through much of the rest of northern Iraq. The city remains a point of dispute between Baghdad and Iraq’s Kurdistan Regional Government, each of which claims the city as part of its sphere of control.

The US Agency for International Development (USAID) bought the 700 ton, $50 million Siemens V94 generator which was designated for a new power plant in Kirkuk in 2003.

April 2, 2005, MOAG finally reached its destination in Kirkuk after a 640-mile journey through Iraq, with 250 to 300 military personnel accompanying MOAG alongside Humees and a number of helicopters at a cost of over $10 Million Dollars.

What a waste.
