The IKEA headquarters when I was there had about 150 people. I don’t think it is much bigger today.
You can be sure the people who deserved to be fired won’t be.

I brought Stucky over to this site years ago, and I raised Llpoh from a pup. I think I helped elevate Admin to new heights of cynicism and sarcasm. And I’ve introduced new forms of expression into our dialogue such as yikes, mama mia, and heh. Yet somehow, I sense that I am the Rodney “I don’t get no respect” Dangerfield of TBP.
Any suggestions on how I can improve or what I’m doing wrong?

Admin – in the local Minneapolis paper (the star and sickle) there was a fairly long write up this morning about the layoffs. One of the few individuals let go that would talk to the reporter was and I kid you not a fabric engineer. I knew Target was very top heavy and very dysfunctional from my professional acquaintances in the area but holy crap a fabric engineer that one still has me shaking my head.

I was new here in the valley, I wandered into a small bar on Sierra Highway (old route 6) the bartender and 3 or 4 customers at the bar were black. They were watching a basketball game. I ordered a beer and went to the bathroom, I decided to leave right away. My boss Phil said, you should have asked if they could change the channel.
I wandered into this fantasy island much the same way. I suggested to Admin if he could be more civil with folks, I was sure the site could grow. He actually replied quite nicely in welcoming me and so I stayed.
