“There’s no accounting for taste.” It’s subjective, and I get that: You’re a classic rock kinda guy. But have you heard stuff like this:

Rock or Bust is a terrific comeback album. Short and sweet. Reminds me a lot of Flick of the Switch.

I have this album downloaded and many more! ACDC is a legendary top selling Rock Band for the ages, their music will out live everyone reading this. If you don’t like ACDC there’s definitely a neurological deficit at play somewhere, make your way to the nearest Emergency Room and tell the triage Nurse you’ve lost you fucking mind.

Not my favorite band but I’ve liked AC/DC for a long time. I got to see them at Monsters of Rock and in San Sebastian, Spain. Not too sure about their future though. Phil Rudd was recently charged with hiring a hitman to kill somebody in NZ I think. Malcom Young recently suffered a career ending illness. I think he had a stroke but the band is pretty quiet about it. Malcom’s nephew finished the album for him.

An excellent performance.

I am struck that Highway to Hell is sung on Good Friday and half the Hollywood elites are wearing devil horns. A cultural moment which symbolizes the road our country has been traveling for some time greased by the entertainment industry.

He has cancer

FT

Malcolm Young is permanently retired, and has been treated for cancer and is suffering from dementia.

Stevie Young has replaced him in the band permanently. Stevie filled in for him previously on the 1988 North American tour while Malcolm was in rehab for alcohol addiction. While he is Angus and Malcolm’s nephew he is only a few years younger (he’s 58)

Chris Slade, who was the drummer from 1989 to 1994 is also back in the band, possibly permanently, while Phil Rudd awaits his court date. The murder charge was dropped but not the other charges. Since Rudd no-showed the video shoot and was two weeks late to the recording sessions even before his legal troubles started, he may be out permanently as well.

Remains to be seen if they ever record another album, since Malcolm was the primary songwriter.

I just read that his dementia began with a stroke that left him unable to play. I had no idea about the lung cancer or pacemaker. Poor bastard had everything hit him at once.

Phil Rudd seems to have lost his fucking mind! Pissing off judges, intimidating witnesses, causing his own lawyer to quit……he’s the Charlie Sheen of New Zealand! He’s gone full retard! With that much money I’d build my own fortress of solitude and only come out to make music!
