Full grown cat would have made a snack out of that rodent.

Charming!!!

And very political …. if you view the rat as the US Gooberment, and the pussy as American people.

We had a cat for 16 years, and she was a pretty good mouser. We lived next to a farm in Germany, and she loved to roam the fields hunting mice. But she never ate the mouse and instead just killed it and dropped it on our doorstep. I guess it was her way of saying, “Look what I just did.” Our boys thought it was pretty funny until she did the same thing to their two hamsters.

Hmm, our cats are going on 15 years with no signs of kicking the bucket, one of them likes to hunt birds, the other is too girlish for that. The dog must be 15 or more and he too shows no pining for dog heaven. It’s clean living I guess. The dog has only been 3 times to the vet. He gave up on his dog food several years ago and decided to eat cat food like the girls. The church lady will occasionally give him a soup of meat leftovers with a couple of corn tortillas thrown in for substance.

@SSS, your kitty was just doing her job and feeding her pack, you.

I miss having a cat (daughter in law is wicked sensitive) but love my doggie to the ends of the earth.

She’s not a hunter, though she tries, the tiny critters are just too fast for her girth and age. We think she is about 12, and with the addition of colloidal silver and little vet/groomer chemicals, she still acts pretty young.

Though a couple days of multi-mile walks has her stiff and not interest in a walk this morning. I’ll let her heal up a couple days and try again. I have goals to meet and Syd and my daughter are getting dragged along for part of the ride. Both get a hiatus this week because my dad is coming out of the hospital and needs help at home, my home and family are safe from me. For now…
