0% chance, my profession is not even listed.
1.1% It would be less if saying “fuck” a lot were included in the job description.
Mars is hoping so, he wants a perpetual cock up his ass – only a machine will do. He knows the savior will pull out one day and leave him for another innocent.
Unless robots can diagnose and treat infected invasive and native trees and shrubs here in New Jersey, I think my job is going to be a ok. I’m more worried about cheap white bosses hiring stupid fucking beaners to do it.
I call bullshit. How can a pharmacist have a 1.2 chance of being automated and a physical therapist/chiropractor 2.1/2.7 respectively? No way a machine can diagnose how dysfunctional tissue feels or functions, muscular imbalances, joint restrictions. On the other hand you can go online and check for contraindications and negative interactions for meds.
@Goofyfoot
If your bosses can hire “stupid fucking beaners” either your job isn’t very difficult or the beaners aren’t very stupid…
I’m still one of only about six people on da earf that do what I do and only one of three that produce the best quality and largest diameter. Our competitor has been trying to automate the process for years but they are still a couple orders of magnitude behind us losing market share to us. I almost wish they’d automate it because I’m in a serious mood to go Galt.
Civil Engineer, only a 1.9% according to NPR. And why shouldn’t I rely on NPR with their world view that creates dystopias in its wake.
“Will Your Job Be Done By A Machine?”
Yeah RIGHT! Just rub it in, won’t ya?
Like YOUR wife doesn’t have a dildo in her nightstand too!
🙂
Russia….that was superlative.
Spinolator – you’ll find that Pharmacists do a LOT more than you think. A LOT more than Physical Therapists / Chiropractors . . . . . .
Your drugs don’t grow on trees. Industrial Pharmacy takes care of that.
New / Unusual formulations? Speciality Manufacturing Pharmacists.
Regulatory Affairs? Pharmacists do that too (usually with a dual Pharmacy / Law qualification)
There are a lot more areas where Pharmacists are employed. Just because they are a usually “invisible” service provider, does not mean their service capability is non-significant.
1.1 for mechanical engineers, but to be fair much our job requirement is to find ways to automate other peoples’ jobs away. It will take sentient robots to put as at risk.
the biggest issue for engineers is the outsourcing to the chinese and indians or the h1b program brining over slaves from those countries with visas and driving salaries down.
Will your job be done by a machine?
God only knows, mine should.
