Stucky’s Question Of The Day #1.

I love these new questions-of-the-day.  I hope Admin doesn’t feel that this is an attempt to compete … rather, the more the merrier.

The situation in Ukraine escalates to the point where the USA declares war on Russia … and war, indeed, erupts.  Who will you support?

P.S. Be honest. Don’t worry about the NSA knocking on your door.

Stucky- in the movie “Red Dawn”, who did the US citizens have to depend on? Think about that for a few minutes and you will have my answer.

It dang sure won’t be Hussein. I don’t know what his trade treaty says, don’t trust his executive orders or staff/advisers, FEMA, etc, his conduct of the Mideast Wars or any potential war he starts with Russia. Like Vietnam deja vu, I didn’t support the war but didn’t want to harm America either. Let’s stop Hussein before he starts another war!!! .

Yeah, I don’t see myself being allowed a choice. One side demands my money and allegiance at gunpoint and has a long track record of imprisoning or killing those who dissent. Unfortunately they happen to have me surrounded.

Your note reminded me of the inn keeper in 1984 that had been spying on Winston and Julia’s romantic affair.

To answer your question, it would be doubleplusungood for the U.S. to even consider such a matter as going to war with Russia over the Ukraine. I would hope Russia would repel our advances with as little loss of life as possible.

I’d hope we could focus our efforts, not on Russia invading a Russian speaking nation, but on repelling the millions of Spanish speaking illegals from invading our English speaking land. The U.S. recently surpassed SPAIN as the second largest Spanish speaking nation (48 million vs. 46 million). If we were serious about the so-called war on terror, there’s a wall that needs building and 93 million working age Americans aged 16-65 not in the labor force that can be called upon to do it.

No more brother wars.

There’s not nearly enough whites as it is… I refuse to support a war where the goal is to kill more whites, ideology aside.

Since war is a racket, then by default whatever reasons they conjure to go to war with Russia are invalid. Russia has not attacked us, therefore war is not justified. Picking a fight to shift the focus off your failed Administration and your insane domestic policy is not “justification”…

I will support neither.

@John A., there is in fact a loose group pushing for a “new world order” that will do away with true nation-states. They want this because it will enable a smaller group of elites to have even more power, and greatly diminish (at least for a few generations) potential challenges to their power.

I don’t like this future but I don’t know that I can do anything about it.

Hard call ,right now I would probably pull for the Russians if the war was over there. I would fight foreign troops on this soil to the death.( I’m 53 so I probably wouldn’t last long but I would fight )As IS said yesterday on another post ….motherfuckers better grow eyes in the back of their heads…

I absolutely detest this Damn government but the country and constitution are still worth fighting for.

@Persnickety Agreed. I know there are varying opinions out there regarding the veracity of the Bible and people are free to consider it as they choose, but I believe it’s the inspired word of God and, as such, see three distinct parallels to your comment:

The first account is in the book of Genesis under King Nimrod (Tower of Babel), the second is in the book of Daniel under King Nebuchadnezzar, and the third is in the book Revelation under the system instituted by the “Beast.” It seems every ~2,500 years or so these things happen…

Sarcasm aside, I definitely think we’re trending toward a new world order and a concentration of power. I’m not a nationalist by any means and see nations as checks in the balance of power to small groups of men who wish to rule the world. Ironically we’ve had a major trend of small groups of men in each nation concentrating power. I guess there’ll just be a concentration of the concentrated.

The next major economic downturn, which I see as likely to happen within the next year, could be the impetus for the NWO to take a large step forward. They won’t let a crisis go to waste. Given their penchant for corrupt behavior in the financial realm, the NWO types like Soros, Buffet, et al. are largely responsible for the crisis anyway.

@John

The problem in the US isn’t the language being spoken but rather who it is that is speaking it. The illegal immigrants are largely from Central America (Mexico included). South Americans, particularly as you go further south, are very different from the Spanish-speakers from a ways north of the Equator, and these latter differ from the folks from nations north of the Darién Gap.

That said, the US should NOT provide ANY social services to those who do not enter legally. Those unable or unwilling to learn English should stay in their home countries Not everyone, English speakers included, can learn a second language and in Latin America, no slack is cut for English speakers outside of major tourist areas; the governments certainly don’t give English speakers the breaks that are given Spanish speakers in the US.

As for hypothetical war, outside of a small group that would like to see the US, Europe and Russia all go down in flames, one suspects that cooler heads would prevail before the point of war was reached.

@Montefrío Well said. There’s a huge difference in culture, priorities, and careers between the friends I have from Colombia and Chile than those I have from El Salvador and Mexico. My great grandfather came to the U.S. from Spain (everyone else in my family came from Italy) and the best way to get him to charge after you was by calling him a Puerto Rican.

I heard an interesting take on the possibility of a NWO coming to fruition and the person said it won’t happen because if there is a one-world government there would be no wars and no MIC to sell arms. More likely is a consolidation of world powers down to just 2-3 who would control the fighting…come to think of it, that’s pretty much what we have now!

I think every Merikan should watch the 80’s version of “Red Dawn” as I believe that it shows what we would be facing if we were at war with Russia and our own government made no effort to protect the country. Also shows what happens when they start rounding up the citizens. I guess if it were present time, Mericans would be taken to a empty Walmart or Mall.

I doubt seriously if DC would lift a finger in our defense if Russian troops invaded our homeland.

@John A., we are in substantial agreement. It’s hard to get really solid history before about 200 BC (except for Romans and Peloponnese Greeks to about 500 BC, and Macedonia to about 400 BC) but there does appear to be a cycle. From what I’ve read it’s more on a 2000 year cycle than 2500, and seems to somewhat follow the changing of the Zodiac sign for the era. Whether this is brought about by actual supernatural forces or by the reaction of some humans to a certain mythology I don’t know.

@Rise Up, maybe yes, however, we have ALWAYS been at war with Eastasia… 🙂

Since I’m forced to pay taxes here in the USSA it could be argued that I’m supporting the USSA. I’d be particularly happy if the USSA could be slapped good and hard (without loss of life) for our continual and unrelenting bullying of the world. There is no way WE would accept the myriad ways we interfere with everyone around the world were they done to us and it’s the height of arrogance to act the way we do.

Good question Stucky. The sooner we all band together as Americans and stop blaming the “other side” whether that’s liberals or conservatives, the better to push back and end this stupid “Wolfowitz doctrine” foreign policy that’s brought our country to its knees.
What we’ve done in the Ukraine and the sandbox countries is deplorable and I highly disagree. Were we to actually declare war with Russia over the events in the Ukraine, I would hope Congress would stop such an action in its tracks and impeach Oblunder. And if that didn’t work I would hope the military would act on its own, assume control, and call for new elections.

Well, it certainly appears the “people you voted into power” are very keen on “their” little adventure in Ukraine, so by extension you Americans must be keen on yet another war of choice.

“We didn’t vote for this!” – OK, so what are YOU doing to manage YOUR “Government”?? That’s right – NOTHING.

So, you are, in effect, in full agreement, and presumably quite happy, in creating yet more death and disruption, as long as it’s conveniently “somewhere else”, and once you are bored with the coverage on your Chinese-manufactured widescreen TV with full surround-sound system (thanks again to Chinese REAL Engineers), you can change channels and watch something more “fun”.

The MAJORITY of Americans are fully on-board with the “Russian Aggression” claptrap, and so the majority will FULLY support NATO or whatever “teaching them a lesson”. Unfortunately for you, the Country that will be “taught a (terminal) lesson” is your USA, where the survivors (if any) will see control over the North American landmass handed over to whichever Countries come out on top (certainly Russia and China, with possibly other justified interests).

As for your much-vaunted “Armed Resistance” along the lines of “a rifle behind each blade of grass”, the victors will use the same mass-extermination strategies as you have used in their Countries in the past. Their Worldview will be the promulgated Worldview, and since it is very likely that the US will have used nuclear munitions against their civilian population, they will be very firmly pressing the point that what remains of the US population constitutes “a Global pestilence that must be completely eradicated”. Extreme? Not when backed with footage of mass civilian deaths courtesy of NATO, and you KNOW that will happen.

There will be ZERO resistance. Your new owners will make that a very early priority.
