Fact Checking Reveals G.O.P. Debate Was Four Per Cent Fact

SIMI VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (The Borowitz Report) – A thorough fact checking reveals that Wednesday night’s Republican Presidential debate was four per cent fact, fact checkers reported Thursday morning.
According to HonestyWatch, a Minnesota-based fact-checking organization, over the course of three hours the Republican candidates served up between eight and twelve facts, not including their names and job descriptions.

While few of the facts that were dispensed during the debate related to policy matters, viewers did learn that Jeb Bush smoked pot in high school, and that Donald Trump had not yet ridiculed Rand Paul’s looks, the fact checkers found.
At CNN, the debate moderator, Jake Tapper, said he was proud of the role he played in keeping the evening’s fact content to a minimum.
“Whenever I felt the candidates were straying into the issues, I tried to goad them into insulting each other,” he said. “I didn’t succeed every time, but all in all I feel good about the night.”
While Tapper might be happy with Wednesday’s contest, it failed to match the benchmark set by August’s Fox News debate, which came in at three per cent fact.

Well I thoughtTrump’s first debate performance would end his run, so much for my read on politics. I would definitely think his attitude in this one would crush him but I imagine I will be wrong again.
Like any of these guys or not, and I think Fiorina or Kasich would be far better than any Democrat as they appear to have some grasp on reality and how business actually works. At least they will slow the apparently inevitable slide of the country into a bankrupt, over promised on entitlements shell of what it should be as will happen quickly under the dems who are going further and further left as promising to give people things turns out to be a pretty good way to get into power.

I don’t know why I bothered to watch most of the debate, the only thing worse than the answers was the questions deliberately worded to try to get the candidates to take digs at each other without saying anything of substance.
I survived (just barely) the Fiorina years at HP. She’s a lying bitch with a horse face (scary Nancy Pelosi face) who’s done her best to run multiple companies into the ground. Anybody who would vote for her is an idiot.

The debate was pure entertainment and not that great at that. I watched from the corner of my eye while cooking and heard some sound bites. I’m now prepared to vote in an election where the winner is already determined and after entering the auspicious office of the president will be cloned for purposes of control.
