@Dutchman: I was a DJ back then and indeed would have been fired in a heartbeat had I played that song on-air.
BTW did you know Barry McGuire was a former New Christy Minstrel?

Yes I do and 1) the 400 US Manpads (some say 15,000 capable of hitting even an airliner) lost to terrorist in Libya 2) NATO putting 4,000 more troops on the Russia border 3) Obama putting more boots into Syria and supporting the terrorist that Russians are fighting is a powder keg that’s going to blow someday somehow. .

just think, those were the good ole days, simple issues. all i know i did not take kindly i could not vote, yet it was just fine to tote and m14 cannon fodder, more in the making, is your kid next, remember this, the draft will come back along with negative interests rates and women in fox holes. this will be interesting, i have lost the ability to give a rats ass how it all goes down

there was a common expression during vietnam era, “it don’t mean nothing” well i have reached that point. my concerns and efforts to awake anyone have gone for nought, 40 plus years later ok, i am fine with whatever comes down. HSF has the right idea, if his friends believe in don’t tread on me. they will weather the coming storm.
