QUOTE OF THE DAY

The TPP removes legislative authority from Congress and the White House on a range of issues. Judicial power is often surrendered to three-person trade tribunals in which only corporations are permitted to sue. Workers, environmental and advocacy groups and labor unions are blocked from seeking redress in the proposed tribunals. The rights of corporations become sacrosanct. The rights of citizens are abolished.

Anyone actually read the full text of the TPP yet?

Or claim to understand everything that is in it?

Or is it just one of those Obamacare type of things that has to be passed so we can find out as it is put into practice.

Hmmm….an armed citizen will always trump a three person tribunal.

From what I’ve read so far the TPP is not a “trade deal” it turns the Constitution and every law passed since on its head, subordinate to the TPP. Since the GOP-led con-gress approved the “fast track” provision, there we be no debate, no filibuster, zip, nada, just an up or down vote.

It must NOT pass.
