I love our crockpot! We usually cook a pork roast along with potatoes, carrots, celery and an onion. I’ll usually trim the fat off and sometimes we luck out and find a roast for 99 cents a lb.

You’re living like a king, mike. Nothing better than soup when it’s cold out.

She’s so right and I’d not thought about adding Kale! Thanks for the tip. When my little boy was a toddler, our stove in Oklahoma got a short and so we were ovenless for a couple of years. We lived just fine with a crockpot, an electric skillet and an electric griddle. I made the Christmas Turkey in the Crockpot and the stuffing in the skillet. It was just perfect!
