I want to see someone carry this to its logical conclusion. Is there a line anywhere? I want to see some 20-something “self identify” as a retiree and sue the government for social security benefits and medicare, and sue the company where he works for retirement benefits, or something completely absurd like that, because I am genuinely curious how that would work out. I just want to see if there is a line that you can cross, beyond which even the leftists in this country will acknowledge as absurd.

I, for one, hold some beliefs that go against the grain but I live in that reality for better or worse and I have no one to blame but myself should I some day discover that, say, not eating meat causes cancer or I was totally wrong on this Jesus guy – my bad.
I certainly identify as an “anarcho-capitalist” and live my life in a way that is in line with such a belief. Therefore, I agree with you 100% that these people, too, should be FORCED to live their ideal.

I’ve given up. I decided that while market-anarchism would work great for a society of people like me, it is utterly Utopian because I’m highly unusual.
Most people wouldn’t last 5 minutes if they had to rely solely on the gifts with which they were born. This is why even if a “libertarian Utopia” was created, within a generation a plurality of its members would be clamoring for a political system and a king.
