I’LL TAKE A CASE, PLEASE

LOL !

When I was in college I played guitar with a couple of different folks at local venues….mostly sitting in .

One night I talked to one of the guys and told him about an idea I had for the intro to the Beatles “I Saw Her Standing There ” .

We did this intro a bunch of times….always using the name of a girl in the audience that we knew . It went like this :

I’m going steady with Lisa,
She’s going steady with me.

She’s got carpet burns on her elbows
And I’ve got’em on my knees !

Then we’d break into “I Saw Her Standing There ” .

She’s doing it wrong. She’s supposed to get the guy on HIS knees!

Duh…
