At one time I was an expert-level skier, but never did the extreme skiing like that. Gutsy to take on a steep mountainside like she did. Kudos to her!
Worst skiing accident was when I broke my collarbone in 2 places in a single fall (hit first mogul shoulder first, tumbled right into the next mogul on the same shoulder–ouch!). Had to be snowmobiled down to the lodge and into an ambulance. Luckily it healed up nicely.

Been there done that. Made two turns into a super steep chute and spent the rest of the time sliding fiercely down between rocks on super hard packed snow. Skis and poles were a long way off. Went right back up the mountain and skied it successfully.
