A great day to ask this. Will the Republican establishment pull off the brokered convention they so desperately want? They’ve gotten so desperate, Kasich has asked his 9 supporters in Florida to vote little Marco, and little Marco has asked his 14 supporters in Ohio to vote Kasich.

Why would they need a brokered convention?

You think Trump will make it to the convention? Only if they bring him in a pine box……..

More and more it is looking like JIMSKI might be right. Once they exhaust all of their other dirty tricks they will convince Trump they will pull the trigger on him or one of his kids and he will see the light and remove himself from the race like Perot did. Or when he least expects it he will just eat a bullet like the Kennedy’s and it will be done. Fifty years of denial and bullshit will follow, evidence buried to protect ‘national security’.

Pretty sad state of affairs that a storyline like this is even conceivable worse yet it is expected. What does that say about us?

Yes, probably. And if the Dems can un-fuck themselves (also questionable) they would win in a landslide against a clustfuck conservative race.

Remember the 2000 election, how the Dems thought it was stolen from them and complained bitterly, but no one really tried to do anything about it? I would bet that lots of people *would* try to do *something* about it this time around, if there was not a clear victor or there were significant voting irregularities, which seems all but guaranteed.

They’ve gotten so desperate they apparently “accidentally” left Trump off of some of the ballots in FL and some FL polling places ran out of Republican ballots at about 9:30 this morning.

•I think Little Marco drops out after losing big in Florida tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised if he directs all of his prior delegates to vote for Lying Ted.

•I think the vote in Ohio tonight will be very close. If Kasich wins by even one vote I think he’s the most likely to fight until the convention. If Trump wins Ohio I think Kasich drops out rather than imperiling his chances to win reelection as governor.

•Lying Ted might win Missouri tonight and we know he’ll continue to contest for the nomination on his prior victories alone. Ted is thinking of 2020 as much as 2016. I think Cruz won’t take it all the way to the convention floor because, deceived as he (and his followers might be), he’s sly enough to realize 2016 isn’t his year and he’d lose in a Mondale-esque landslide to Clinton if Trump isn’t the nominee. Unfortunately, like a cartoon villain, he’ll shake his fist and vow to return.

•The best we can hope for is Trump victories in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Illinois, followed later in the primary calendar by the big prizes of California, New York, etc. sealing the nomination. We’ll know more in a few short hours.

I think the answer is “NO”, but I agree with Dutchman; if Trump winds up not being the nominee it could fire off a civil war. Meantime Bernie is making gains against Hitlery.

I don’t know, it he loses by honest means prior to trickery at the convention I think people will accept it reasonably peacefully.

Bus like last time, the “base” may mostly stay home come election time and give Hillary (or maybe Sanders) the win.

Which would suit the Republican Establishment -actually the World Establishment- quite well.

Kasich is probably going to win Ohio–he’s up by 12% right now.

That will make Trump’s path a little more difficult. Looks like Cruz might win Missouri.

There is a WHOLE BUNCH of crap that can go on with the delegates that will be out of sight of the Great Unwashed. Each state, and sometimes even down to the district level, has its own rules; some delegates are unbound on the first vote, apparently, some states in which caucus and primary winners have already been decided, have a boat load of delegates yet to be assigned, and on and on. I’ve just been trying to learn a little bit about it and it’s making my head explode. Cruz seems to be playing the delegate “ground game” best of all. This is likely a weakness for Trump since he’s not been in politics.

So yeah, I think they’ll try for a brokered convention, especially if they can’t get rid of Trump any other way.

So Kasich wins his home state of Ohio, but Rubio exits the race, Cruz loses all five contests, and Trump wins four out of five states. The brokered convention talk is nonsense. It’ll just take Trump a little longer after he sweeps through the more liberal states like California, New York, New Jersey, etc. A good night overall for the Donald.

Dear all,
I live far away and although I am a child of an American father and an Australian Woman the State of America is always of concern. I have lived now some 62 years, From my birth in 1954 during Korean war and in my prime youth the Vietnam conflict. My Father never left Japan til late 1948 because he spoke wrote and read fluent Japanese. I have to say he never again stepped foot on American soil such was his terror of those memories. He died of war related injuries – cancer from I guess, radiation in the city he was based. I digress however. Every year I hope that Rome for the want of a better word will listen to history and learn. however every year I am more disappointed in the American affairs in the World. This election is viewed by the rest of us mortals as watershed on the intelligence of the American people. I am here to say, so far, if among 350 million citizens THIS is the BEST you have to offer them your going to have to wear ear plugs because the laughter at this waste of money is deafening. I remember JFK and his death. I have listened to his archived speeches. He was a Statesman and an orator. Do you have none like him anywhere, firm of mind and thoughtful during tough times. I know that HC is a Hawk and DT is a … well.. wild card. I guess we, the World are in for a hell of a time. If one is elected then build a bunker, if the other then read the novel ‘1984’ but read into it much darker confrontations. I often think Steven King could never write such an ending. I send Love to my kin, a great nation lead astray. Remember always ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness’. All 3 seem to be missing among your affairs and its hurting all the rest of us.

As I said before. No Trump and its everybody for themselves. Any moral propriety will be gone for all classes of people.

For example, illegitimacy will be almost at 100%. All but the very wealthy who like to show off will get married. The rest its EBT Card and section 8. The section 8 going to rent the brothers house and vice versa. The man of the house will live in the house just as the illegals fathering multiple kids now.

Gun sales . Off the roof. May be the onset of total elimination by the the government of guns.

FLASH- Stranger things have happened at political conventions. Get out and talk to people, you are going to be surprised that the rest of the voting public is beyond clueless about the whole destroying the GOP thing.

Kasich or some other dirtbag candidate could happen. Mittens is old hat but a tried and true loser so who knows, could be him.

The above is from a news story this morning after another big sweep of a Super Tuesday by Trump.

But watch as the MSM claims that he is inciting riots if not nominated from that quote at the end.

His butler says when he wears his red hat he’s in a foul mood, the white hat when he’s not. But anger and stirring up the people is what has gotten him where he is, so don’t expect him to change hats until November.

Correction: Trump didn’t sweep–he lost Ohio and is currently in the lead but not taken Missouri by around 2,000 votes out of over 800,000 cast with 99% reporting.
