Better start packin.

Holy shitballs!! Someone please convince me this is not the plan.

From the article – “We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy,” said Edenhofer.

http://www.investors.com/politics/editorials/another-climate-alarmist-admits-real-
motive-behind-warming-scare/

Fraud: While the global warming alarmists have done a good job of spreading fright, they haven’t been so good at hiding their real motivation. Yet another one has slipped up and revealed the catalyst driving the climate scare.

We have been told now for almost three decades that man has to change his ways or his fossil-fuel emissions will scorch Earth with catastrophic warming. Scientists, politicians and activists have maintained the narrative that their concern is only about caring for our planet and its inhabitants. But this is simply not true. The narrative is a ruse. They are after something entirely different.

If they were honest, the climate alarmists would admit that they are not working feverishly to hold down global temperatures — they would acknowledge that they are instead consumed with the goal of holding down capitalism and establishing a global welfare state.

Have doubts? Then listen to the words of former United Nations climate official Ottmar Edenhofer:

“One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with the environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole,” said Edenhofer, who co-chaired the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change working group on Mitigation of Climate Change from 2008 to 2015.

So what is the goal of environmental policy?

“We redistribute de facto the world’s wealth by climate policy,” said Edenhofer.

For those who want to believe that maybe Edenhofer just misspoke and doesn’t really mean that, consider that a little more than five years ago he also said that “the next world climate summit in Cancun is actually an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s resources will be negotiated.”

Mad as they are, Edenhofer’s comments are nevertheless consistent with other alarmists who have spilled the movement’s dirty secret. Last year, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, made a similar statement.

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentional ly, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” she said in anticipation of last year’s Paris climate summit.

“This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model for the first time in human history.”

The plan is to allow Third World countries to emit as much carbon dioxide as they wish — because, as Edenhofer said, “in order to get rich one has to burn coal, oil or gas” — while at the same time restricting emissions in advanced nations. This will, of course, choke economic growth in developed nations, but they deserve that fate as they “have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community,” he said. The fanaticism runs so deep that one professor has even suggested that we need to plunge ourselves into a depression to fight global warming.

Perhaps Naomi Klein summed up best what the warming the fuss is all about in her book “This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate.”

“What if global warming isn’t only a crisis?” Klein asks in a preview of a documentary inspired by her book. “What if it’s the best chance we’re ever going to get to build a better world?”

In her mind, the world has to “change, or be changed” because an “economic system” — meaning free-market capitalism — has caused environmental “wreckage.”

This is how the global warming alarmist community thinks. It wants to frighten, intimidate and then assume command. It needs a “crisis” to take advantage of, a hobgoblin to menace the people, so that they will beg for protection from the imaginary threat. The alarmists’ “better world” is one in which they rule a global welfare state. They’ve admitted this themselves.

That plan is well underway. Greedy American energy users will

effectively lose their ability to “pollute” (global warming) so that

others may take that role. The real danger is people realizing the

double speak and balking. The money makers have nearly looted

the USA of all value and they will go on to loot the next favored nations.

Meanwhile, with the regime change policy, bailout loans from bankers,

and the subsequent theft of natural resources…the entire world will be

within the control of a few dudes drooling into their bags of gold.

We will get to enjoy the tribal warfare.

Hmmm

You have it half right; The NWO certainly wants what is essentially a “welfare state”. But, it isn’t meant for the general population. The “welfare” or more specifically the global carbon tax, is designed to create and maintain a system that would enable to elites to shower the worlds wealth on themselves.

It would seem to me that the best plan is to either be a large share holder in an international corporation, be the CEO or be on the board of one or work for one. Fluidity = survival?

Amazing to me how many people can’t see behind the curtain on this issue. The fucking oil companies want to wring every last drop of profit from their investment and they’re not about to let the fact of global warming cut into it. If you can’t see this, and the resultant efforts to obfuscate the truth, then you’re either stupid or your name is Stucky.

Climate policy is not about climate

By Donald Sensing

But that is no surprise to those of us who have studied Global Warmism for years. What is surprising is that a senior United Nations climate-policy official confirms it bluntly.

Another Climate Alarmist Admits Real Motive Behind Warming Scare

But he is not the first of his team to admit this. At a 2015 news conference in Brussels, Christiana Figueres, executive secretary of U.N.’s Framework Convention on Climate Change, admitted that the goal of environmental activists is not to save the world from ecological calamity but to destroy capitalism.

“This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time, to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the Industrial Revolution,” she said.
As I wrote years ago,

H.L. Mencken observed, “The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule it.” And that is the true foundation of environmentalism today: the desire of its gurus to regulate the way others live. Monbiot again:

We can deal with climate change only with the help of governments, restraining the exertions of our natural liberties.
Freeman Dyson wrote that, “Environmentalism has replaced socialism as the leading secular religion.” I demur. Environmentalism has not replaced socialism at all. Instead, the old-line socialists, faced with decades of the failure of political socialism, have jumped on the environmentalist bandwagon to keep socialism alive. Environmentalism has become a much better vehicle to achieve a rigid regulation of people’s lives than political socialism ever was. After all, the fate of the entire planet is at stake! Environmentalism has already led some British members of Parliament to propose that the government regulate almost every aspect of buying and selling by private individuals. If this is not socialism, it is a distinction without a difference.

So there you are. At bottom, modern environmentalism has discarded scientific rigor to embrace something not much different than Leninism, the desire to control the major components of the way individuals live. From there it is a short step for environmentalism to Leninism’s successor: Stalinism, the desire to control every aspect of the way we live.
That’s our future, minus the gulags. We hope.

It amazes me when I read articles about global warming or “climate change” that you rarely hear anybody mention the release of the “climategate” emails of 2009. That event told me everything I needed to know about the validity of global warming and the resultant carbon taxes.

Coast….even though the article provides the info from higher ups in the UN and the IPCC, you still close your mind to any data that opposes your ideology.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Have you got a list? Grow a pair, Rog. Stop trying to get along by going along.

Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t there. That is why they invented the term ‘glacial’. Just about a year or so, a drop of tar fell after some 60 years, proving that tar is a liquid.

Regarding Westcoaster …. never, never, ever in TBP history (really) have sooo many made such huge efforts to train one individual in correct thinking.

Just one question. WHY??????

You guys remind me of Elaine (Seinfeld) trying to convert a homo to the other team. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Stucky….Why Not

It is always a challenge. There are studies that reveal a person’s ideology is greatly influenced by their political leanings. So Coast is obviously a far-left Num-Nut (as opposed to a far-right Num-Nut). I can’t resist trashing either if the subject has an influence on my life.

I don’t care if millions of people believe that extraterrestrial Aliens have abducted humans for medical experiments – this has no effect on me.
