I can’t help but think that a series of robotic, motion activated Gatling Guns with interlocking fields of fire all along the border would be far more entertaining than a wall. The ongoing maintenance costs alone should really put some well connected “govt. contractor” in clover!
Imagine one of these bad boys set up on a solid, precision mount every couple hundred yards. Modern pointing systems could make them so accurate that one could target knees only. Another could target ankles or feet or hips and so on. All the buzzards along the border would be as fat as Oprah! HBO or Netflix could get the TeeVee rights and be bigger than HoneyBooBoo.
