Random Thoughts After A Shit-Fest

If this thread gets any action — say, 10 posts or more — I will reveal one final stunning thought later this evening.

———–

Too bad stupidity isn’t painful.

Don’t believe the saying that truth will make you free. Doubt sets you free.

Good news is only really good to those directly involved. Most people lead such futile and useless lives that only bad news makes them feel better.

The majority of humans have an inborn death wish—they want to destroy themselves and everything beautiful.

I believe we should hate out enemies. If you love them you place yourself at their mercy.

Hatred, when repressed, will lead to many physical and emotional aliments. It is good to release your hatred to those who DESERVE it. This way you cleanse yourself of these malignant emotions … and, you won’t take your pent-up hatred out on your loved ones.

Loving everyone indiscriminately is unnatural, if not impossible. If you try to love everyone you only lessen your feelings for those who deserve your love.

Jesus said —- “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you …“. I think he should not have said “would”. In other words, you should do unto others EXACTLY as they did unto you. The other way around is unnatural.

I don’t like going outside to see other people. They look awful. The men look like slobs and the women look like men. The men have mush faces framed by long hair and the women have big noses, big jaws, big heads, and stick-like bodies. Shit is depressing.

We make and keep friends as long as they are useful to us.

Don’t live in the past … put it behind you … move on to other things .. ”, they say. Bullshit! It’s my past that makes me unique. You, also. I’m holding on to it for dear life. So, don’t sell me some “new and improved and a better you” bullshit.

Add you own thoughts ….

@Stucky… I scrolled up and found it, but you STARTED that revelation by discussing Billy’s Anus, which sent me immediately to the next post.

I’ve recently been told I’m dumber than dirt, so you will need to signal when you are making a revelation instead of talking about Billy’s butthole.

😀

Genesis is a parable, not a literal retelling of events.

FulL Retard,

“FM, you said I was kissing LLPOH’s ass.”

I think the point is that LLPOH (and everyone else here) is quite capable of defending himself. If it will make you feel better I’ll rescind the statement. As for learning from one another – I’ve learned plenty from LLPOH and most of the others who post here. Some of it is positive and some of it not so much. I generally agree with most of what the Yank from down under posts. But that doesn’t me he is infallible or right all the time. But then I’m not perfect either. There was at least one statement I made in the last dust up I wish I could edit out. But that’s life bro. We learn and we move on.

FWIW Retard – I look in the mirror each day and see a flawed human being. But that’s why I come here. I’m in good company.

Anyways – I’m pretty much done discussing the topic at this stage. As I said I’m moving on. You can do what you like. Peace.

Francis – I am a flawed individual as well. Very. Sometimes in the middle of a shit-fest, tempers flare and we all start talking over each other and things that are said get missed. As I mentioned before, I consider TBP as a forum for ideas, but also as a “process” in determining action.

I want it known that I do not actually consider you to be a “pussy”. Quite the contrary.

Onward…

Stucky- Since you have been over this flood thing with a fine toothed comb, do you (a) believe there was indeed a flood of that magnitude? and (b) where DID all of that water come from?

How is the Earth model different today than it was in Noah’s time? Could another flood ELE happen if the Earth was influenced by another celestial body?

I remember you talking about this a couple of years ago but I don’t remember your position on these questions.

Stucky- You say you don’t believe in a literal flood, why?

Are you one of those fellers that just picks and chooses the parts of the good book you want to believe? That ain’t how it’s supposed to work.

The Russians seem to be fired up about increased earthquake activity and are saying there could be displacement of the Pacific plate. I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but that would be devastating to the west coast. The clinker is that the Ruskies are also talking about global flooding on a biblical level. Tsunamis don’t count as biblical level to me.

Could the flood in Noah’s day have been caused by pole shift? I don’t know if I believe the pole shift scenario but anything is possible in the construct. The gravitational influence over the planet from another passing planet could be destructive.

I personally don’t have a problem with the water canopy theory, sounds like the perfect greenhouse or greenhouse effect. People living to 900 years old due to 50% more oxygen in the atmosphere and increased pressure.
