Progressive golden boy Justin Trudeau showed his authoritarian colors on Wednesday as he threw a temper tantrum in Canada’s legislature, grabbing one member of Parliament and elbowing a female member in the breast. Why? Trudeau was upset that opposition MPs had taken a few moments longer than he liked to begin voting on a key piece of his legislative agenda.
Trudeau’s Liberal government had made a motion to shut down debate on a bill that would allow assisted suicide in Canada. Opposition MPs on both sides of the issue claim the government bill is flawed and needs more debate and changes. When Trudeau said no, they stalled a little and that is all it took for him to fly into a fit of rage.
When Conservative and New Democrat MPs had stalled for a whole 46 seconds after the vote had been called to order, Trudeau got up from his seat, marched across the aisle and began manhandling other members of Canada’s legislature.
He grabbed Conservative whip Gord Brown by the arm and in doing so the self-proclaimed feminist also elbowed New Democrat Ruth Ellen Brosseau in her breast, pushing her back into a desk. Trudeau didn’t even pause to see if she was okay before marching Brown towards his seat.
He then returned to the opposition benches to yell at New Democrat members that were not moving fast enough, reportedly yelling at one point, “Get the f@*k out of my way.”
Trudeau denied there was a problem before later offering an, “I’m sorry but…” apology. He left Parliament walking past reporters and smiling arrogantly while refusing to answer any questions about the incident.
What a fag.

It’s too bad more people didn’t get the message: T2 just isn’t ready to hold high office. Behaving like a 2 year old, swearing, shoving people and running through the House of Commons when you don’t get your way is unbecoming of any member of parliament.
If Stephen Harper had done the same as T2 did yesterday, the police would have been brought in, he would have been charged with assault and people would have called for his resignation. In T2’s case, his supporters will say this demonstrates his decisiveness and ability to get things done.
I can only hope the shine will come off T2’s sunny ways and acts like one he committed yesterday will wake people up to the fact that Laurentian elites like T2 do not have Canada’s best interests at heart. It’s only a faint hope though.

Only mindlessly partisan people like Francis rigidly adhere to a proscribed set of political beliefs.
Most thinking people accept that we have complex belief sets that evolve over time.
Even his esteemed Adminship admits to agreeing with Bernie Sanders on some issues (eg. Wall Street Banksters).
Personally I am ‘right wing’ on issues like rapists (death penalty) but ‘left wing’ on education/therapy/training for prisoners so that they have a fighting chance to do something other than more crime when they are released. This also costs much less than prosecution and incarceration so theoretically taxes are reduced – a ‘right wing’ idea.
Ultimately political affiliation is a red herring because the banks control macroeconomic policies in western democracies and have successfully enriched the 1% and will soon crash the system again.

I agree. The whole thing is incredibly childish from start to finish. The PM acts like a spoiled bully (reminds me of a friend of mine when I was little whose parents gave him everything he wanted and who would push others around when he didn’t get what he wanted from them too) and the rest react like my little brother would have after he just told me to “fuck off” and I shoved him not knowing my mom was watching. He’d howl like a little girl just to get me in trouble. And these are the people who are running our country.
Someone should lock the doors to the joint and put a sign on it that says – “Grown Ups Only”
