(I assume you are up North somewhere) so are people there fed up with the Federal NWO Liberal government (esp Obama) so that when the dollar reset (30% inflation) occurs in October, do you expect any riots?
At this point I have no idea who will be president. If the establishment can keep the stock market at record highs, while faking the economic data for three more months and Hillary doesn’t self destruct in the debates or have wikileaks reveal something incriminating, she would likely win. Both candidates are Boomers, so they both fit the Fourth Turning criteria for leader. No matter who wins, the next ten years are going to be awful.

It looks like we were successful with son #1. Two more to go. It’s not easy, but nothing worthwhile is.

Every despot uses the same basic tactics, with little variation only based on their personal deviance. Knowing that educators, judges, lawyers, journalists, etc. and anyone who believes (that can be identified or assumed) in freedoms and liberties…..do you worry they’ll come for you?
If I had debt, I’d pay it down. If I didn’t have debt, I’d keep $5,000 liquid in my possession, and divide the rest between gold, silver, lead, and supplies. I wouldn’t put a dime into the stock or bond markets. Real estate is too overvalued. There are no great investments at the present time. We are living in an asset bubble created by the Fed and their central banker brethren.

No single commenter has changed my view on the world. But the multitude of great commenters has changed my view of the world. When I started the blog I still thought positive change could be achieved through the ballot box. I supported and worked for the election of Ron Paul. It became evident to me over time that change will only come after collapse. The system can not be fixed through the system. Outside forces will need to crash the system to give us a chance to start over.
You have a long commute,a demanding job, family obligations and this website. Where the hell do you find the time?

When the kids are gone and the time comes for you to retire, will you stay in PA or have you and Dani settled on another state or country – given that TEOTWAWKI has not occurred?
I’d prefer to move from PA, but a lot will depend on the family situation. If I had no obligations, living out my remaining years on a Caribbean island would be my preference.

My understanding is that you spend more than two(?) hours every weekday in your daily commute.
Then during the weekends, you are still posting on TBP. And, even, on your recent Colorado trip you were still posting here (and seemingly more than just during the mornings and evenings).
Personally, my wife complains regarding the UN-limited time I spend on the net, so I was wondering:
1.) Does your wife, kids, family, friend’s etc, ever complain regarding your time commitment that is required to adminstrate TBP?
2.) If so, how do you respond?
And finally, on a separate note:
3.) What was that “mountain lion” quote by Smokey again? (You have referenced it before and I can’t remember it exactly.)
A good day would be slightly less than 2 hours. Bad days can be closer to 3 hours. Avg is probably 2 hours and 15 minutes.
In Colorado, I’d wake up at 6:30 take my laptop down to the breakfast room and post 5 or 6 things before the family ever woke up. Same at night in the room.
I generally have 2/3 of the posts up by noon. Many days I don’t even logon after I get home. On Saturdays, wife and kids work and I have no car. After doing chores, lawn work, I just try to find something interesting to post.
I don’t have any hobbies other than TBP, so it doesn’t really impact the family. I used to write a big article per week and that took up most of my weekends, but I don’t do that anymore.
