In the video below, … excerpts of how Putin handles corruption in his country. You’ll notice how he doesn’t raise his voice, rage, throw things, or say stupid shit. He doesn’t make up shit like an Oreo — “Hey, the economy is great!!“. He doesn’t pander, doesn’t equivocate, and doesn’t stick his head in the sand.
This man is always cool, in command, and in control of himself. He talks softly and carries a very big stick. In the first clip, notice how quickly he gets to the heart of the matter … who was backing the project, who is funding it, and who fucked up. And in other clips …

Ohmigod! If America had such a leader, would we have spent about ONE TRILLION DOLLARS on the F-35??

The point is the bridge is a boondoggle. Crimea is/was a small province with, at its peak, 1.8 million people. It is not recognized as part of Russia by any major power including China! As such no major airlines fly there anymore nor do cruise ships make port calls. What economy it had was integrated with that of Ukraine and included its water and electric supplies. Given the bleak economic prospects and the need to suppress the local non Russian population it is losing population and will be a burden on the Russian economy that can ill afford to spend $4 or $5 billion on a bridge to this millstone.

Stucky’s got a man-crush on Putin, but doesn’t seem to grasp that a demanding leader must also be willing to accommodate the grumblings of his subordinates. That’s the first step- if the underling is simply corrupt/incompetent, he goes into the shitcan.

Anon you are right Trump is close to the Russians, very close. Those longing for a leader like Putin may well get their wish. After the race war morphs into a civil war and America has been destabilized, history shows us that we would be ready for occupation and takeover by foreign forces such as Russia and China. So, you may not just get a leader “like” Putin you will get Putin himself and at that point America will cease to exist, everything we have worked hard for will be taken from us so keep watching your propaganda from the communists and dreaming .

I began my adult life working for people who were very “direct” in their communications. I then eventually became very “direct” myself, and it cost me my last position. That’s what I admire about Putin, in the clips shown he cuts right to the chase, doesn’t swallow a line of shit or get sidetracked.
