Once Upon a Time in the West

by Uncola for TheBurningPlatform.com

A war can begin slowly.  And quietly.  Decisions are made and strategies implemented as outcomes unfold. Assessments are analyzed; tactics remain fluid and adjustments are tweaked as every action elicits an opposing reaction.  As time progresses, it becomes easier to discern the enemy as the battle lines become more defined.

Originally, I was going to entitle this essay “Enemies of the State”, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized how the geopolitics of today resembles a 1960s Spaghetti Western.

The promotional trailer of Sergio Leone’s epic 1968 film, “Once Upon a Time in the West”, alludes to: “the widow, the outlaw, the gunman and the man in search of a name”.   Unless one takes the time to view the entire two hour and forty five minute film, it would be impossible to understand the characters or their individual motives, especially, regarding the protagonist as played by Charles Bronson.

The same can be said when reading today’s headlines.  There are the mainstream media’s promotional marketing of specific narratives and stories; and then, there are those who are actually watching the denouement of the plot in real time.

Try this experiment: The next time you are around someone you know who is engaged in American politics, ask them if they have heard of Pizzagate.  When they say “no”, ask them if they have heard of any accusations of pedophilia against Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign manager, John Podesta.  In my own experience, in every instance, these “engaged” people who vote, surf the net, read newspapers and follow the daily news on television, or even talk radio, are clueless.

At Thanksgiving, I asked people who actually have e-mailed me political perspectives prior to the election, on both the political Right and Left, their opinions of “fake news”.  A few knew of the Google and Facebook measures that were reported upon immediately after the election, but other than that, they didn’t have much to say.  However, this changed the day after Thanksgiving because on Thanksgiving Day, the Washington Post published their now infamous propaganda hit piece  on alleged “fake news” websites using research from the now discredited “PropOrNot” group that “insists on public anonymity”.

Consider all of the plot twist and turns we have experienced since Thanksgiving.  Under threat of lawsuits from the falsely accused, the Washington Post offered a retraction of sorts on December 8, 2016, and distanced itself from the PropOrNot liars.  Ironically, the very next day, Hillary Clinton, dressed in purple and looking like she just returned from a private Prince concert in the afterlife, called fake news an “epidemic” in a speech on Capitol Hill for the retiring Nevada Senator, and fellow member of the undead, Harry Reid.  Hillary said:

The epidemic of malicious fake news and false propaganda that flooded social media over the past year:  It’s now clear that so called fake news can have real world consequences. This isn’t about politics or partisanship. Lives are at risk, lives of ordinary people just trying to go about their days to do their jobs, contribute to their communities; it’s a danger that must be addressed and addressed quickly. Bipartisan legislation is making its way through congress to boost the government’s response to foreign propaganda and Silcom Valley is starting to grapple with the challenge and threat of fake news.

Even more interesting is what Broomhilda did not say.  Zero Hedge put it this way:

While Clinton did not mention “Pizzagate”, her comments appeared to directly reference the story that implicated her former campaign chairman, John Podesta, and lead to a man with an assault rifle firing a shot in Comet Ping Pong, the Washington shop that has been implicated in the online conspiracy theory.

Obviously, the New York Times agrees that fake news brought real guns to the innocent, highly regarded Comet Ping Pong and definitely threatened the establishment. Or, maybe, The Establishment?

Did you also notice how Hillary, in her little speech, transitioned “fake news” into “foreign propaganda”?  Very smooth.  Pandora’s box has really let the cat out of the bag and opened a can of worms on this one.  Now ten electoral college electors want a briefing on Russian interference in the 2016 election before they cast their presidential vote.

Furthermore, there appears to be a civil war raging in the halls of high government. During the election it was the FBI against the Justice Department; but now, the showdown is between the FBI and the CIA.  According to an article in the Washington Post, the CIA says Russia “quite clearly intended to help Republican Donald Trump defeat Democrat Hillary Clinton and clinch the White House.”

However, in remarks to lawmakers on the House Intelligence Committee, the FBI was not convinced of these claims.  In other words, they were “fuzzy” and “ambiguous” regarding what the Washington Post has termed “the Kremilin’s elusive fingerprints”.

Have you ever noticed how “Kremlin” rhymes with “gremlin” which is defined as a mischievous invisible being?

The Washington Post also describes these divisions in the high offices of government as occurring because the FBI  demands “facts and tangible evidence” as opposed to the CIA being more comfortable “drawing inferences” and that “high confidence” for the CIA means “we’re pretty damn sure” but it doesn’t mean “they can prove it in court.”

In fact, if you review the Washington Post article as linked above, it reads like they believe the Russian Connection to be a fact and, they, with the help of the CIA, will misrepresent any accusation and extort every angle to make Donald Trump guilty of espionage.  Oh, if only the Washington Post had put forth such an effort with Hillary Clinton’s e-mails.  It makes one wonder, doesn’t it?

In the meantime, Donald Trump claimed the Russian’s involvement in the 2016 election to be the real “fake news” while the White house has accused Trump of treason.  Indeed, on December 12, 2016, White House press secretary, Josh Earnest, accused the President Elect of actually requesting Russia’s assistance to cyber hack Hillary Clinton.

This is a very serious charge.  How long do you think it will be before solid evidence is presented to back up the claim?  Be prepared.  Here, I believe the Z-man offers an astute observation:

Never mind the absurdity of the claim. Think about where that leads. What limits are there on what you can do to stop a traitor from harming the country? Obviously, you can say anything horrible about them you like, in an effort to damage them.

What better way than to discredit your political enemy, garner support from the body politic and, simultaneously, satisfy your lust for war with a foreign power? Yet these are the goals of the globalists.  They are already at war with Russia in Ukraine and Syria so, in their view, the desire for peace is treason. This means Donald Trump is now considered by the Deep State to be a traitor to his country.

Recently, Congress passed H.R. 6393, a bill targeting “Russian Propaganda” websites.  A few weeks before, the House passed the “Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2016” which requires “an assessment of the potential effectiveness, risks, and operational requirements of the establishment and maintenance of a no-fly zone over part or all of Syria”.

The globalists want war and they want it soon.  To them, Trump is merely a speed bump.

A showdown is occurring, like “Once Upon a Time in the West”.  In the film, the battle was over Sweetwater, a piece of land near the fictional western town of Flagstone.  A crippled railroad tycoon sends his hired guns to intimidate the rightful owners of Sweetwater to sell the land so the railroad can obtain the water there in order to service its steam locomotives.  Instead, the leader of the hired guns, played by Henry Fonda in a role personifying pure evil, kills everyone, including the children, in a pre-planned effort to frame an outlaw played by Jason Robards.   Enter a mysterious, unnamed, harmonica playing badass, portrayed by Charles Bronson, with motives of his own including an unquenchable thirst for revenge.

Just like in the film, the sides have been chosen.  Over there, we have the Amazon: Jeff Bezos, a Bilderberg approved hired gun who attended the Bilderberg conference in Watford, Hertfordshire, England in June of 2013 and later purchased the Washington Post in October, 2013.  This hired gun has no appreciation for the little people as he forces his employees to sleep in tents or be fired this holiday season.

On the other side, we have a President Elect who doesn’t approve of the way the hired gun conducts his business.  Moreover, a showdown looms ahead this coming Wednesday, December 14th, 2016 in the form of a technology summit.

Meanwhile, the Clinton Campaign, along with the Senators  Ben Cardin (Md.), Dianne Feinstein (Calif.) and Patrick Leahy (Vt.), the top Democrats on the Foreign Relations, Intelligence and Judiciary committees, are all backing the creation of an independent commission to investigate Russia’s interference with the 2016 election.  It doesn’t seem very “independent” to me, but they seem to think they can’t lose, with the Maverick, John McCain, on their side.

It’s Once Upon a Time in the West. The elite globalists are like the crippled railroad tycoon sending hired guns to intimidate the patriotic and nationalist Americans into selling their land of Sweetwater so as to feed the global, one-world driven locomotive.  The hired guns care not for truth, liberty or law as they pull their triggers on little children and attempt to frame the outlaw nation of Russia.  Yet, there is one standing in their way with motives of his own.

Plots often begin slowly then build through violent crescendos before the ensuing final showdown. Wars can begin with a whisper and secrets revealed in a final, dying gasp.  Motives are often not what they seem and the only way to fully understand them is by watching each action, and reaction.

Evil exists in the hearts of men and heroes are often not whom we would expect. Sometimes, love affairs aren’t meant to last and other times, evil is packaged in surprising forms; perhaps even looking like Henry Fonda.

As Jason Robards tells Charles Bronson near the end:

“when they do you in, pray it’s somebody who knows where to shoot.”

Yes, archetypes and untypical heroes make movie magic.  In real life, however, the blood is real and there are no retakes. The stakes actually matter. It is life and death.  One side is going to win.  But unlike the movies, we won’t know until it’s over.

Pass the popcorn.

Troubling to me is the House passing H.R. 6393, when the Rep’s have a majority. OK, most politicians are slime and will vote as their leadership demands, but I had thought the Rep’s in CONgress had at least elected a bunch of people with a spine.

It was a defense spending bill, and the Repubs probably didn’t even read it, so they might have had no idea that the “fake news” crap was part of it. But I’m no mindreader, so that’s only my guess.

It would appear that the House and Senate have decided to remain loyal to the ruling junta. They will oppose the President elect on tax cuts (the deficit is too damn high! Not that it was problematic when it was doubled on their watch over the last 8 years) and are now backing the CIA over Trump in the Russiagate claims.

Yes, there is a war ongoing, a coup has taken place against the establishment and they are not going down without a fight.

Yes, HSF, it would appear the Establishment is trying to strike back… plus, they see an opportunity to flex their muscle and remind Trump they have power too. However, I’m not sure those old turds in the senate and the backstabbing Ryan know just what they’re getting into w/the Donald… he doesn’t play by the same rules & gameplan as they do… they’ll create some problems for him, maybe hold up a nomination or 2, but DT will roast them

Great metaphor with your post.

Naturally, the biggest POS in the Senate, and that includes Reid, John McCain is front & center. Lord, I hate this fucker.

And to hear the despicable McConnell wailing about the deficit. What a joke. Next up I’m sure we’ll hear Mr Continuing Resolution, Paul Ryan, moaning about tax rate cuts.

PE Trump certainly has his work cut out for him but there’s no one I’d rather see in there.

When the Chink money rolled in for the Bill Clinton regime, to grease the skids on their path towards most-favoured-nation trade status, it was a non-story. When unprecedented amounts of small donations, 90% untraceable, rolled in for Barack Obama, it was a non-story. Suddenly the MSM has their radar working for detecting foreign influence in U.S. elections. Pathetic.

Trump should just bypass them in all major announcements. Give the breaking news to alt-media. Make ’em stare at Drudge’s vintage flashing light for the next eight years. Or better yet, he should start a daily blog. If his Tweets vexed them, a blog would give them apoplectic seizures.

Exactly. Just as FDR did with his “Fireside Chats,” which, by the way, were enormously popular–just as Trump’s tweets are. Anyway, you are right: Best thing Trump can do is to bypass the MSM and go directly to the People, whether with tweets or radio broadcasts or You Tube vids or whatever. And I say that he should deny press credentials to the MSM scumbags. Lock the pieces of shut out of the White House. He doesn’t need them, and they will only try to do him in. Just slam the door in their faces, and let them eat … cake.

To tell the truth, there are 322,761,807 people who I would rather see in the white house but trump is the one who is going to be there. Even most repubs don’t like him but that is water under the dam now. One thing you can say, even if you believe that trump knew he was going to be president 5 years ago, is that he brings a different perspective to the job. We can all agree that a fresh perspective, and not hope and change, has the potential to be a good thing. But that’s not enough. You all have to start in on the slime that gets elected to congress. Fight in every state to remove anyone who has ever served in the senate or house. If they have been there for one term remove them from office. After one term their morals have been so totally corrupted that they will never be able to hold an honest job again.

Trump can’t do much of anything with his own party blocking his every move. It doesn’t matter what he wants to do as long as the turtle and the gay are leading the charge against him. Vote them out of office. All of them. One term and done. You don’t need term limits, you can implement them with the vote. Get rid of McCain. Get rid of Pelosi. Get rid of them all. There is not one single Shining Star in the whole lot of them.

If “his own party” blocks everything he tries they may get a real surprise since the majority of his party -the real majority, not the ruling elite- are the ones that elected him and will certainly have something to say about it if they do.

Agreed. They will toe Trump’s mark unless they are even stupider and more out of touch than I thought. Maybe they are, but I doubt it. They didn’t get to where they are by being stupid. But they do tend towards stupidity once they get settled in DC. So we shall see.

I really, really, really do not want to see this come to shooting and a civil war — but the population is divided, the CIA is facing off against the FBI, and the RHINOs and Dems are faced off against Trump and his supporters. The most dangerous possibility, in my opinion, is that the Bad Guys (all those aligned with the Deep State) will manage to keep Trump from being inaugurated. Assassination, electoral college rigging, declaration of emergency, WWIII, etc., are all possibilities. There is nothing so bad that the Deep State will not use it. Unless the Bad Guys step back from this precipice, things may well go to the point that the military gets involved, at which point all other actors will be small potatoes. My hope is that the military would support Trump, but even that is conjecture.

Oh, one small thing concerning western movies… Imagine a classic western movie, filmed by Koreans, set in Manchuria during the 1930s. No, really! Check out “The Good, the Bad, and the Weird”. One of the most entertaining westerns you will ever watch. Two thumbs up.

It doesn’t have to be a shooting war.

Keep in mind that the Soviet Union collapsed when the people just quit paying attention to the government.

Other than Romania, there was very little shooting involved and that took place after the collapse had already taken place as the Romanian people reclaimed ownership of their own government.

Hey Anonymous! You make a good point. I must admit, when the old USSR fell, I was amazed — and very pleased! — that there was a mostly peaceful transition. IF (big “IF”) the US were to fall apart, maybe to separate into multiple regional countries, I can only hope that it happens without major bloodshed. The fact is, the old Constitutional Republic has not existed for a long time now, but mostly it was just not so bad that people would not put up with the changes. If the current batch of “Progressives” ever get their hands permanently on the levers of power, that would be complete justification for whatever needed to be done to throw them out.

Uncola,

One of your best. I was thinking about this whole situation along similar lines all week. The whole thing reads like some sort of Shakespearean tragedy but the players and the consequences are real. I doubt the world at large is aware of how dangerous the times are that we are living in and that a US civil war is not just a possibility but currently is reality at the highest levels of government and intelligence.

The only thing I would caution is that painting the entire CIA with one brush is bad tactics from a confrontational perspective. Things are usually more complicated internally than they appear. I’ll leave it at that.

All good comments. I suspect civil war is really the final act of the people disconnecting from all or most of the established societal institutions. I haven’t encountered anyone who feels like the general population has made that decision yet. The election of Trump might be the last effort to fix things. If the electors and/or Congress deny the people their vote/voice, I expect the “deplorables” to give up on that. That’s when real trouble starts.

Once again bravo. The Deep State thought they had election in bag. But lost. No harm no foul. Just move to Plan B. Discredit and deflect and undermine legitimacy of a Trump Administration. It now seems the battle of Sweetwater is playing out according to script that is written on fly. The phrase junta was used in this thread. It does perfectly describe the current regime.

First the riots and protests.
Then Jill Stein’s recount petition.
Electors now going rogue.
The MSM and now Hillary trumpeting the “fake news” narrative.

All the while the undercurrent of a constitutional crisis with this attempt to undermine the will of the people by blaming the Russians that would make Joe McCarthy blush. It does read and have all the attributes of some sort of Shakespearean tragedy. The consequences are real and dangerous. A civil war is in offing.

The Liberal mindset is deeply entrenched where I live. Most folks here seem happy to play along with this intrigue blind to the danger. What is really sad is that if there is a showdown they will quickly forget the steps to brought it about and lay the blame in it’s entirety at the feet of Trump. More than happy to do him in.

Reading more on pizzagate and wish this would get more play in mainstream but nobody wants to take it on. Just hope it goes away. And it will. The internet and freeflow of information that has accompanied it has done absolutely nothing to change the way the Masters of The Universe control our lives. Call me a conspiracy theorist but it looks like Deep State is working frantically to keep the truth from being exposed.

I saw this posted from Alfantis’s Instagram this morning. Blacked out but obvious what it is. Questions needs to be asked.

Is the Deep State fighting tooth and nail against Trump because they are Patriotic?
or
Are they doing it to Protect folks like Mr. Comet PingPong?

Might be that neither of questions are relevant. There are more questions I realize than that to ask but for me it is a good start.

Trump is from NYC. Well connected. Knows people and things. Giuliani, too. It’s entirely possible that PizzaGate is bubbling beneath the surface. The NYC police are not happy at all about what they found on that laptop, and I’d bet the rent that they have not forgotten about any of it. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if “people” in NYC had convinced Trump to run specifically to bring down the “Pizza Crowd.” That spirit-cooking “artist” woman lives in NY state. There are all kinds of connections and goings-on that we don’t know about. Let’s wait and see what happens. We’ve got Jeff Sessions at the head of Justice, so that is good. And where is Giuliani? A former prosecutor. He’s dropped out of the news. Why?

That’s another thing I love about this place. The music. Several of us must be close in age. I spare no expense on my personal system in my office when it comes to sound. I have to turn the floor woofer to the wall to keep the overhead lights from vibrating.

Iska – I totally forgot about that Dire Straits “West” tune. Sometimes when Hardscrabble posts video/music with his essays, I will play the music while reading. It does add a dimension and sets the mood.

When I was younger, we used to play pool and listen to Communique on vinyl. I gave away all my records years ago and now I regret it. But – then again – I am now playing the full album on YouTube as I type this.

Your video/link above would be a great mood setter for the piece. Just the right vibe. Thanks for posting.

Greetings,

As much as I’m not a fan of Alex Jones (I find him too bombastic), he is correct in that this is an INFO WAR. Going forward, the biggest weapon we can bring against the deep state is the dark web. If attempting to manage the web looks no different than herding feral cats, the deep state will tie itself in knots trying to figure out what, exactly, is going on. After all, isn’t McCain more worried about whether or not he has soiled his diaper than some “web” thing that he can’t even begin to wrap his mind around? Of what benefit is he to any committee trying to untangle foreign influence in the last election?

I’m not underestimating my opponents here but pointing out that what you are seeing is no different than, say, gunpowder or the printing press in scope. In the past, 3 knights in armor and on war horses could ride into any village and easily murder everyone there. Who could stop them? How would they do so? With sticks and stones?

Gunpowder brought all of that to an end as someone with a few hours of training could drop a knight before he could even get close enough to use any of his weapons. The printing press did the same for those with competing messages. For example, pamphlets did more to win the American Revolution than any fighting that occurred (Washington never won a single battle – not one).

Like Napoleon, I believe that you should not interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake. If the deep state believes that committees and panels of diaper wearing know nothings will somehow make things better for them then I say we should not interrupt other than to mock them for their efforts.

In conclusion, DARPA designed the web so as to survive a nuclear holocaust. The cat is now out of the bag and these out of touch 1% are not gonna be able to do a thing about it.

Washington won the Battle of Trenton, the Battle of Princeton, the Battle of Monmouth, all in New Jersey. He commanded troops in each of those engagements, so if you meant ‘he’ personally never won, you’re incorrect or if you meant the Continental Army never won, that too is incorrect.

Yorktown and Saratoga were sieges that ended with massive British surrenders. They should count as wins.

I like Washington and I think his reputation is generally well-deserved. He was a good guy and a very capable administrator. His genius, if you can call it that, was being able to have a foot in the camps of hysterically opposed factions and yet be beloved by all of them. I wish I could do that.

Having said that, most of those “battles” you listed are only really battles in American mythical lore. At Trenton he marched a small rabble of poorly outfitted and trained colonists in weather so horrible that the Hessians were snug in their beds and captured a small outpost without firing a shot. Yorktown, the battle that ended the uprising, was a French affair in which Washington was a curious and idle observer. He had no clue how to conduct a proper siege against a well defended fortification, nor the equipment to conduct one with. Just sayin…

I’m descended from Hugh Mercer, bayoneted to death at Princeton only a few days after the surprise attack at Trenton. It was a battle involving several regiments of British soldiers, Hessians the Continental Army under Washington (who had brazenly escaped a force of close to 8,000 sent to destroy him at Trenton in order to circle around behind them and engage the split forces at Princeton) and NJ militia. Hundreds were killed, twice that many wounded and several hundred British captured including a large weapons and powder cache.

The comment made was that Washington never won a single battle, not the size, importance or location.

I know my NJ revolutionary war history pretty thoroughly, it was hammered into me growing up (DAR/SAR). Every one of those battles made it possible for the war to be won, for a variety of reasons, but that they were in fact won by Washington is indisputable.

You see that Church? That’s on Broad Street in the center of the town my family founded in 1703, Hopewell. My farm is Hopewell Farm. My family is buried in Highland Cemetery going back to the early 18th century, same piece of ground where the Continental Army hid out prior to the Battle of Monmouth. Two of them apparently knew your kin well enough to follow him- George Voorhees and Jacob Ege.

Now I’m pushing 60 and my Great-Great Grandfather fought at Fredricksburg with the 21st NJ Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War, so unless your family reproduced in their dotage you left off a couple of greats.

I have no doubt you have connections to the people and town- as do I. All I’m saying is that if you claim that Washington never won any battles during the American War of Independence you are either mistaken or we are talking about two different men.

Good post. Washington did win at Trenton & Princeton. Not sure about your casualty figures, though, because it’s not clear whether you are combining two things, but 24 were killed at Trenton; 91 wounded; more than 900 captured.

No shots fired at Trenton? Twenty-four killed and 91 wounded. Approx 1000 captured. And the Americans had crossed the Delaware River before marching to Trenton in the sleet. The Delaware, mind you. In December.

Greetings,

I do have a minor in military science and we spent an entire semester studying the military genius of Washington and that guy never won a single battle. This was not my opinion but the opinion of the United States Army, our course material and the officers instructing the class. Now, the public may think he did something on the battlefield but it just isn’t true. He knew how to retreat and he most certainly knew how to ride around threatening people and I must say that he held the army together with nothing more than willpower, but that said, his strength was his determination to keep an army in the field and to wear the British out which he did.

Often times our instructors would bring out the land model with the British positions already in place and ask a Cadet, “Where is the absolute worst position for the Americans to place their assets?” and sure enough, that would be the location Washington would pick.

pamphlets did more to win the American Revolution than any fighting that occurred (Washington never won a single battle – not one).

Trenton, New Jersey, 26 DEC 1776.

Also, the fact is that the Revolution was over *before* the shooting started in 1775. That’s how things have to be because revolutions do not take place on the battlefield. They take place in people’s hearts and minds, and only when that is an accomplished fact can there be any shooting. People don’t take up arms until *after* they are finished–in heart and mind–with whatever they are revolting against.

Great post anyway, though But I don’t think enough people know about the “Dark web.” I have heard of it, but that’s all. And I imagine that that is true of most people. But you’re right–it is probably the best thing for people to do when the censors come down on the internet. And they are getting ready to do that now. And to move us and the whole world to a cashless society, which is even more dangerous than net censorship. Our work is cut out for us.

Thank you Uncola, for the great post.
And thanks to you-all that left the music. And the videos too.

“This means Donald Trump is now considered by the Deep State to be a traitor to his country.”

What is this kindergarten? Perhaps the people are really of kindergarten minds?
Those old farts and their “investigating committees” and the anti-Russian fake news
“laws” are pathetic. Very pathetic. Civil war? No, the war is between scum sucking
pathetic basturds trying to be relative. Or trying to “keep their power.” How dare they
try to start a “war” (of words) with Russia and accuse Trump of colluding with Russia
to what? steal an election? That is the playbook of the Left/making stuff up and obfuscating
with their fake news/suppositions. We are so insulted with all of the BS the career pols
are spewing. Perhaps they are twittering about their cleverness in achieving several
“goals” at the same time. It is really time for term limits!!
In the meantime, we have NOT forgotten about the Clinton Foundation and it’s layers
of theft and fraud. We have not forgotten about the DC pizza scandal and the depravity
revealed/and the relationships the players have with the lovely Clintons.

Kindly remember, not everyone associated with banking is a stone crook. Some of those
guys did their (maybe rotten) jobs without freaking so they would not go flying out
of a window. Maybe some of the guys would love to work within an ethical system?
Regardless of who Trump chooses for his master-group a little patience is in order.

This is the time for good people to stay vigilant and act with integrity. Be what you want
to see and experience in this life.

Thanks again Uncola,
Suzanna

@ Ed_209 – An awesome soundtrack can really add to a great movie.

Are you the same Ed who makes cujugal visits at the women’s prison then goes bowling with Stubb and El Coyote? Or a different Ed? Just curious.

El Coyote – where the hell are ‘ya? Wassup?

Wow Suzanna, that is some stone solid polyanna you got going on there. If one is judged by their actions then trump is MAGA – Make America Goldman Again. You surely must remain vigilant, whatever that might mean, and you can have good will towards your favored candidate, but it would be best that you keep your eyes open. He is showing you his true colors now because he doesn’t have to trick you any more.

I really do hope that you are right and I am wrong but I have never seen a banker that wasn’t a criminal. That’s like trying to find a Labrador Retriever that isn’t a dog.

A nation with $20T in debt filled with a population that resists any change that might change the trajectory of the status quo. A nation governed by war loving maniacs who refuse to think that an ally could be an enemy or that an enemy could be an ally. A citizenry that thinks 90 days in advance is long term thinking and that everything will “be just fine” because mommy said so.
The US is screwed and for that matter the entire world is screwed, and we deserve every ounce of pain that will fill our future Starbucks coffee cups.

“Reading more on pizzagate and wish this would get more play in mainstream but nobody wants to take it on. Just hope it goes away. And it will.”

We don’t need the discredited mainstream media any more. Keep in mind that in any revolution, it doesn’t matter what the muddled middle knows or thinks. Only a few percent matter, and they don’t get their views from the Ministry of Propaganda.

“The US is screwed and for that matter the entire world is screwed, and we deserve every ounce of pain that will fill our future Starbucks coffee cups.”

Or as Jefferson put it, “Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just.”

Excellent post. Especially about the proportion of a population needed to make a successful revolution, although that word is not optimal because the shooting doesn’t start until *after* the revolution. Revolutions take place in people’s hearts and minds and until then, the possibility of shooting doesn’t even exist. But it’s looking like we are already there.
