Question of the Day, Dec 28

Given Obama’s obamanible behavior these last few weeks, do you think it’s time to shorten the transition time after a presidential election?

The outgoing Administration should be guillotined as soon as the election results have been certified….

We could give him a shine box, and let him work at the White House until the inauguration.

Ya know, I hate rules. But when you have an egotistical, self-centered, narcissistic, arrogant, son-of-a-bitch like Obama – it makes one think – real hard.

On one hand, AFAIK he’s the only ass hole who’s behaved like this – but if we get any more leftist POTUS, they may act similarly.

I don’t think we should shorten the time (it’s only 2 1/2 months) in that the new president has to put together a cabinet, etc.

How ever, if we could have a rule that the out going president cannot sign any treaties, make any contracts – it would put an end to this monkey business. (Michelle – monkey business – ha ha).

No. It’s always going to take time to get up to speed, security clearances, briefings, building a team etc. I’m just happy it’s not longer.

Not to mention the time it will take to replace the linens.

Changing things is not going to work the way you think it might.

It’s never been a problem before Obama and probably won’t be again.

Leave it alone, the same way the Electoral College needs to be left alone.

Only in an emergency. Like the one we’re in now.

Probably need to let it be; sometimes you eat the bear, sometimes the bear eats you.

Obozo is a perfect example of a bum who does’nt pay his rent before he’s kicked out of house & home. Him and the rest of his liberal ilk counterparts decide to throw temper tantrums like whiny stuck up brats, trashing the place before the renter has time to kick his ass and the other bumbling refuse out the door with him. The new tenant will eventually get in and start the restoration process and the bums will be gone, until the next election round of ignorance chooses to vote the bums back in. Hopefully not any time soon, there is plenty of repair work to be done. Good riddens!

Some may recall, once Obama was elected in 2008, he assumed the role of POTUS immediately – inauguration, convention, tradition be damned. Bush just slid quietly into the background. As such, Obama departs in a similar manner as that which marked his arrival. He arrived on the scene with a great gusto, and will leave kicking and screaming.
From Wikipedia:
“Obama held near-daily press conferences as President-elect to announce his administration nominees to the public.[54] He introduced the nominees and occasionally took questions from the press regarding issues such as economic difficulties and the War in Afghanistan.[55]”

That traitor should be hanged. Preferably next to Hillary Clinton. That fact that Obozo was elected twice and Hillary almost won demonstrates how stupid many Americans are.

I’ve seen the problem locally,
example 1, the country commissioners were voted out, because they wanted public financing for a minor league baseball stadium. The voters didn’t want to pay for said, stadium (normal setup public finance, leased to private company and publicly maintain), and the local people voted them out of office, they then signed binding contracts between the time of the election and their leaving office.
Example 2, local township commissioners, same thing. Bond for an indusial park, which the rumor has some of commissioners owned the land. Voted out, signed contracts, put the small local township on the hook for $250,000.

My thoughts on the manner, are they shouldn’t be allowed to pass any laws, or presidential executive orders, between election and leaving office. For local officials they shouldn’t be allowed to commit to finical arrangements. At this time, they’re only care takers.
