This is just the RCMP’s latest step in their ongoing gun grab. Last month they re-classified 25 round Ruger 10/22 magazines as prohibited. Thousands of Canadians purchased these items legally only to be made paperwork criminals after unelected bureaucrats at the RCMP decided they don’t like them so no one should have them, despite no demonstrated crimes committed using these magazines, or the more recently reclassified CZ858 rifle.
Good thing I sold all my long guns when the long gun registry went away.
To the patriots to the north,besides keeping those rifles be sure to get plenty of cases of 7.62,you can NEVER have too much ammo,EH!
Never owned a gun but this is good reason to get a couple. Sooner or later they are going to pass a law making it impossible to buy weapons.

Rin,consider a 80%(for lack of better phrase)build,no paper work/no govt./nada.Order what you need with money orders ect.,anything to help kill the trails,but honestly,hiding a few handguns/rifles really not a lot of space if martial law ect. declared,and hell will need em pretty quick then when the veneer of civility dissipates.
In the US we have most states private cash sales,well,just that,private.A huge number of videos on net that show gun building from scratch and with care firearms that work,never let the govt. tell you what you may own,of course,ammo,and lots of it.
