I’ve worked in construction for the last 2o years, entirely in Texas. My entire professional career. I have no problems with the Mexican people. For the most part, I think a lot of the ‘liberal’ stereotypes are true. They ARE hard workers, and they DO perform a lot of the work that ‘Muricans don’t want to do.
So, why not let them come over, in search of a better life? I don’t want to fund the trip, though. Or the housing. Or the medical care. Or the food. Or any of the other small, death-by-a-thousand-paper-cuts that the Gub’mint inflicts on me daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
And, yes, there are muchos bad hombres among those that are coming over. That’s not what I’m talking about. Those that commit violent crimes against others need to be incarcerated.
Seems simple to me. But maybe I’m not smart enough to see the obvious.
They do jobs Americans don’t want to do? Then stop being a cheap shit and pay more for a dirty / dangerous / tiring job. I’d rather pay more to an American – upfront – than to pay indirectly for some illegal.

There have been several cases of this. One was a meat packing plant in the South, Georgia I think. They got raided and the illegals were gone. It took a matter of hours before 300 AMERICANS took those jobs, many were impoverished and minorities.
Yeah, that was Augusta, GA, Shapiro Meat Packing, if I’m not mistaken, right across the Savannah River from where I live in S.C.
If not, it’s just another of the same.
If they’re good people, come over legally. Period.

I don’t think the man power exists for this, at least man power that wouldn’t be better used elsewhere. I also dislike giving the government the ability to just go in busting down doors on ‘suspicion of having illegals in the building’. They do too much of that shit already.
The way to solve this problem is two fold. The first is economic – end the huge financial incentives for people to come here and live off our tax dollars. No free housing, medical care, school, food, etc. the second part, as far as catching more of them, no round up is necessary. Just end this ‘catch and release’ bullshit where they are just told to check in periodically with immigration officers to maybe get deported some day. If the police catch an illegal for any reason, see ya later. Deport them then rather than letting them linger. Just doing that would probably more than occupy the existing manpower of these agencies, no need to raid places.
And the less medical care, schooling and food we offer them the better, and the sooner they’ll deport themselves. These PARASITES have been leeching off the US for so long they think they have a RIGHT to. It needs to stop now.

Basically the IRS sends a No Match letter to a employer telling them the SS number for Jose does not match. The employer has 90 days to prove the SS # and Jose are good, or fire Jose, or receive a slap on the wrist.
Interestingly the SSA can only ask for information, but then the employer must walk a fine line or risk they violate anti-discrimination laws.
The anti-discrimination law is in place to prevent unfair document abuse, which progressives claim occurs when employers treat brown people differently on the basis of color of their skin and the horror! Ask for proof of citizenship, SS#’s and the like.
The IRS can fine a employer, but only if a employer fails to file the requested paperwork.
The best advise? Both sides hire a lawyer to defend them against a toothless meaningless law.

Basically the IRS sends a No Match letter to a employer telling them the SS number for Jose does not match. The employer has 90 days to prove the SS # and Jose are good, or fire Jose, or receive a slap on the wrist.
Interestingly the SSA can only ask for information, but then the employer must walk a fine line or risk they violate anti-discrimination laws.
The anti-discrimination law is in place to prevent unfair document abuse, which progressives claim occurs when employers treat brown people differently on the basis of color of their skin and the horror! Ask for proof of citizenship, SS#’s and the like.
The IRS can fine a employer, but only if a employer fails to file the requested paperwork.

Last year camping in a national forest we had a bunch of entitled white college students playing loud music all day and into the night, running around and shooting off fireworks day and night. The other end of the road we had a bunch of white trash allowing their kids to run and roam and scream, also playing their music to compete with the college kids, they also ran a loud ass generator to power a tv so they could sit and watch NASCAR while they ignored their offspring.
Right behind us we had three Mexican families in tents. The adults interacted with the kids playing games and created activities while some of the adults prepared supper, they all cooked and ate together, at a table!
No radios, no tv’s, no screaming, no fireworks, just family togetherness. They invited my wife and I to eat. No idea what it was but it was very good.
Then the DNR showed up and evicted the college kids and the white trash.
We shared a cerveza to celebrate while we watched two state cruisers show up to help, what a circus.
My point is Mexicans are not the only ones taking advantage of the system, blacks and whites do so as well.
