Freedom Caucus & Big Bang

Guest Post by Martin Armstrong

Freedom Caucus

I have been warning that we are headed directly into the collapse of socialism; not capitalism, simply because politicians have been bribing people’s votes with all sorts of promises they never planned on providing. Social Security may have began as a good idea, but then the money was really just a tax and the fund was stuffed with government bonds denying the average person the very right to invest for his future as do the “rich” who make most money from investment – not wages.

The core of that crash and burn in socialism is pensions. The scheme of pensions when blended with politics is a lethal combination. Politicians are NEVER prosecuted for fraud. Had any employer promised what politicians did and then engaged in every scheme to circumvent it, they would be in prison or hung by a mob in the good old days of social justice. Today, we have politicians who are just so dishonest and they constantly feed the flames of class warfare to divert any responsibility for what they have done.

Examples are surfacing from every corner. In Ohio, beginning in 2019, retired cops and firefighters will no longer receive health care benefits through the Ohio Police & Firefighters Pension Fund. Instead they will receive a stipend to buy coverage on the open market. Why? Because the stipend can be fixed, whereas health care costs keep going up more than 5% annually with no end in sight. Health care is bankrupting the economy and is totally out of control.

The Freedom Caucus, also known as the House Freedom Caucus, is a congressional caucus consisting of conservative and libertarian Republican members of the United States House of Representatives. It was the Freedom Caucus, that brought down John Boehner as the leader of the Republicans. They were the ones constantly blocking the increase in a debt ceiling. It was the Freedom Caucus who stopped the repeal of Obamacare, not because they agreed with it, but because they are ultra conservative trying to stop any new debt. Trump responded: “The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don’t get on the team, & fast,” in a tweet. He continued: “We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!”

BIG BANG ECM 2015.75

Big Bang began in 2015.75, with the peak in government and everything has been turning down rapidly ever since with interest rates rising. Even Trump won the presidency effectively as a third party candidate from within the Republican Party. Nothing like that has ever happened in American Politics. Everywhere we look we see the world headed into more chaos with BREXIT and political insanity in Europe, to China regulating Bitcoin to stop the capital outflows.

The Freedom Caucus is out in never-never-land. While yes we are dealing with a debt crisis, their solution of blocking the debt ceiling increases and repealing Obamacare is frivolous. Why? Because it is just totally impractical. To block any increase in debt is to invite Big Bang, social unrest, and the high probability that the USA will be pushed into civil war (Special Report to be published soon). These types of measures will accomplish only bloodshed. We must begin the process of restructuring the entire system. Blocking payments and new debt is inviting the confrontation. It is not a realistic solution. Obamacare is going to blow up if it is not reformed and you are hurting the next generation between the Obamacare Tax and the Clinton scheme to deny them the right to go bankrupt of worthless degrees.

It is now just a question of when with Big Bang set in motion, will the whole Socialistic mess erupt and how will the markets respond? We will be looking at Big Bang and how to Trade a Vertical Market at the Hong Kong World Economic Conference in May.

Our money is debt.

It is borrowed into existence, then injected into the economy.

Quit increasing it and the money supply quits increasing and starts shrinking as interest takes its toll.

Get rid of it and we get rid of our money, something that needs to be considered if we decide to actually try it someday.

You get to the meat of it.

Money only needs to be
1. a store of value
2. durable
3. infinitely divisible

Debt as money fails on points 1 and 2. It can (and is meant to be) created out of nothing, violating Say’s Law. It is no more durable than the collective trust on which it rests, a volatile commodity if ever one existed.

Replace the debt money issued by banks with debt free money issued directly by the Treasury (as it’s supposed to be). This is the only way to pay down the debt without imploding the economy.

I say, let it all collapse in to one big singularity. This is the ONLY way these issues will be resolved. When the system finally blows up, we will indeed see who and what programs are SELF SUSTAINABLE. That is called capitalism. Not the brand of crony capitalism that has been sold to us for the last 30+ years. Real capitalism stands on its own, without any government subsidies, or “programs”. It simply can stay afloat under its own footing because it is something that many diverse people agree, of their own free will and choices makes sense. The ultimate expression of democracy.
It is already happening in healthcare – OK surgery center and concierge medicine, in school – Kahn Academy and similar online course offerings, and many other examples locally and regionally that have cropped up “on the fringe” to counteract the forced monopoly of “the system”. This is base infrastructure that is ALREADY in place, functional and surprisingly, being used more and more by the millennials, of all people. I guess when you steal wealth from a generation, they have no choice but to check out of the system, as you have blocked every other exit.
No, I am hoping that ALL of these scams take a colossal swan dive in to the great abyss ALL AT ONCE. Then even the dullest and most liberal among us will see all the rot and theft in all of its glory. The alternatives will become mainstream, and maybe, just maybe as people begin to see what actual economic freedom looks like, without constant – stick a gun in your face and force you to do something, for your own good – interference at every turn, we can build a sustainable US again.
So, freedom caucus, keep on “blocking”. Tell them NO to everything they propose. Every – kick the can down the road – political maneuver that would only lengthen the time before the inevitable is just going to make it worse out the other side. Let nature take its course on these “programs”. That which is not sustainable, WILL fall. Their job should be just to block anything that would lengthen the duration until failure.

The Freedom Caucus is at least trying to stop the growth of Leviathan, which Lyin’ Ryancare would have promoted. They are trying to hold down the inevitable by reversing an unsustainable trend.
Martin Armstrong somehow thinks we can keep doing what we’ve been doing, and to that extent he is in Never-never Land. I hope you have plenty of bullion, bullets and band-aids, because the trend is not your friend and even the Freedom Caucus is not going to be able to keep this runaway train on the rails.

The Freedom Caucus isn’t in never-never land, it’s dealing with reality.
“…a generous parent should have said, ‘If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace;’ and this single reflection, well applied, is sufficient to awaken every man to duty”.
Thomas Paine writing in “The Crisis”

Any collapse will be worse with every day, every outrage, and every dollar piled upon it. The sooner the better in my book.

100%, while a lot of my mind says try to hold it off, the right thing to do is not to just hold our breaths and hope it is our kids who have the pain but to embrace it now.

The free caucs just cost Bannon his job. He tried to buffalo the pukes and they refused to be railroaded.
I’m beginning to like El Trumpo.

The house free caucs will lead to a government shutdown but Trump won’t be stymied. He will keep picking champions to do battle with the free caucs.

Would it be absurd to suggest Bannon was Devin Nunes,’ Deep Throat?
It would explain his sudden departure from the National Security Council.
