That was a really poignant little cartoon, RiNS. I put off watching it until I was ready to “retire” for the evening. I’m here in the USA’s capital with very successful people whose lives are so removed from my own bunny-slaughtering existence it is laughable.
I dunno… I think the big move caused him to disconnect for a while (I did the disconnect for a few weeks and LOVED it, but life continues and I began to realize NEVER knowing what current events were in even as small a community as I live was a detriment to making good decisions about many things.)
Perhaps his new digs turned out to be the Hotel California…..you can check out any time you like but you can never leave…..even digitally.
His new landlord probably turned out to be a community organizer of group sex parties and when Stucky inevitably mentioned his python he was promptly tied up and put into bondage for $20 per ride.
Per Stucky’s last message on 4-13-2017: “I’m in the process of getting a sex change. I figured I’m halfway there in the breast department, might as well go all the way.” and “My new icon will be Wonder Woman.” So there ya have it! He’s switching from the “Stucky” to the Stuckee”.
Starting to think Stuck may be gone for good. The shining light that was TBP is far dimmer than it once was. Too bad.
No Stuck. SSS rarely posts. Muck is rarely seen. IS, Star, EC, BL, and a couple others still wave the flag. But by and large the Stormers seem to be the flavor of the day.
If Admin wants to save this place, I think he should make a move soon.
You might be right. I haven’t been around enough over the last 4-5 months to keep up with the changes. I probably read less than 10% of the posts and comments these days as I’ve just got too many other things to tend to right now.
Change is inevitable. I’m not sure what admin could do to change it if he could. I rarely see admin commenting these days but maybe I’m just not reading enough to see.
As I said recently in another comment, I’ve gone far enough down the rabbit hole to know who the enemy is. If I could effect change I surely would but I don’t want to be a nail in a world full of hammers. If I’m realistic (and lucky) I’ve got about 20-25 years left in me and sitting around debating the same old coulda, woulda, shoulda is losing it’s appeal. I don’t regret a minute of my doom porn odyssey. I’m grateful for it but if I’m going to do anything with the years I have left it’s about time to get on with it.
I don’t think I’ll fade away completely from TBP. I certainly don’t want to but as with money, time needs to be budgeted as well.
Tinker Bell , I think the main thing that creates these snowflakes is a lack of any firm convictions . Religious or other wise.No fully formed coherent worldview leaves many of these people open to all kinds of leftist Progressives lies.
Unable to mentally defend themselves makes them easy targets. In high school my high school teachers were all proud Americans .Most were Bible believing as prays were said before the start of many of my classes. I think that’s been outlawed in most American schools.Sad.
