QUOTES OF THE DAY

“As many frustrated Americans who have joined the Tea Party realize, we cannot stand against big government at home while supporting it abroad. We cannot talk about fiscal responsibility while spending trillions on occupying and bullying the rest of the world. We cannot talk about the budget deficit and spiraling domestic spending without looking at the costs of maintaining an American empire of more than 700 military bases in more than 120 foreign countries. We cannot pat ourselves on the back for cutting a few thousand dollars from a nature preserve or an inner-city swimming pool at home while turning a blind eye to a Pentagon budget that nearly equals those of the rest of the world combined.”

Ron Paul

“Our country is now geared to an arms economy which was bred in an artificially induced psychosis of war hysteria and nurtured upon an incessant propaganda of fear.”

General Douglas McArthur

“It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.”

Thank you. This is the perfect antidote to the Marine Corps post from yesterday and all of the comments.

We don’t undermine the bloated military by constantly sharing stories of how wonderful the military is, how much our experiences “made us a man,” or other similar tripe. The empire ONLY has the means to steal our wealth and waste it overseas on behalf of the banksters, the arms dealers, and the other beneficiaries of war BECAUSE we incessantly applaud military “service,” incessantly pretend that what the military has been doing since 1945 has had ANYTHING to do with keeping us safe, and incessantly sit around joking and telling stories of how great this “death fraternity” was to belong to. The propaganda put out by the military that sucks kids in, is simply more of the same, and it enables the death machine to continue rolling over the rest of the world and our freedoms here at home.

I really don’t care that this offends many. Its time to stop pretending that good personal experiences in the military can be somehow separated from the empire’s growing power or that “supporting the troops” can in any way be separated from supporting the empire in all of its destructiveness abroad or at home. They are indeed one and the same. Government and violence are one and the same. Support one, and you support the entire package.

I can’t improve on Mr.Liberty’s comments.
Healthy quotes, healthy comments.
The collapse of government, when it occurs
will be spectacular and many will cease having
any fun.

Why can’t “we the people” just tell the government, “in the name of Jesus Christ, stop!”?
Why? Because we have forgotten Jesus Christ. We have forgotten God. We have forgotten that our nation is founded on, God and Christian law. We have turned away from God.
Everyone, please just speak to God. Ask God to save our nation. Ask God to open our eyes to our sins, so we can know the truth; so that we can be sorry for our sins; so we can truly repent and be forgiven.
We had a national day of prayer. Did you hear anything about it in the media? Not much if anything. How many people even prayed that day?
God is the only power enough to end the evil of this world. If you think that any amount of political action that you, me, the Tea Party, and/or the whole patriotic community, combined will have any effect, then watch this video to see how big the evil is. It should convince you that only God can save us.
