I have 3 things to be grumpy about:
A. Maggie the flip-flopper hates me once more. We were good but then, I make one innocuous remark to BW and she goes haywire. There’s something wrong with that gal.
2. Zara repeated that well-worn lie that “…a god that demands praise…” I haven’t read that anywhere in the bible and it must be from the satanic verses that say shit like – I’d rather rule in hell than serve in heaven. You know what, Zara? A religion that doesn’t promise salvation is not a religion, it’s a philosophy. That’s why it doesn’t require a conversion like the KKK does, you either buy it or don’t.
3. I’ve read that the bible is misogynistic. Maybe it warns folks about avoiding bad women. Maybe it warns folks about making a woman their idol. Maybe it recommends women stay in the house. It isn’t misogynistic for having old-fashioned principles. As the first Mrs Bogart asked, who’s going to wash (the man’s) socks?
