Republicans are more polite when Democrats rule because they are getting what they want.
What they really want, not what they claim to want to their voting membership.

Annie, It is VERY relevant!!! Regardless if he is a liar or not (he is), IF he is NOT a true Citizen of the US, then EVERY decision, law, proclamation, uttered or signed by him is NULL & VOID. Do you understand that concept? That means that EVERYTHING he did for the past 8 years has absolutely ZERO LEGAL STANDING in the US. That is the point that everyone seems to be either missing completely or keeps dancing around. I do wish someone would bring this issue up in a Court & get to the bottom of it all.

I’m not sure but there’s an argument that in order to attend school in Indonesia he had to renounce his American citizenship (his father would have done it for him at the time) and there’s no record he was ever re-nationalized, so he would be neither a US Citizen nor a naturalized citizen when he ran for office, so he would have been ineligible. The book cover contends he was born in Kenya, so birthright citizenship would not have applied.
Given the CIA’s propensity for making up lies to suit purposes, I wouldn’t be certain of his mother’s identity either.

I think it boils down to a fundamental difference in wiring: true conservatives (not of the social conservative variety) really just want to be left the hell alone, while liberals are compelled to force their will on everyone. Unless you are poking a conservative with a sharp stick right in their their gut, they mostly mind their own fucking business.

First, Republicans are more polite because no decent person in this country calls himself or herself a Democrat. Now, there are still a dwindling number of salt of the earth types, not very smart but good enough people, who still support the Democrats out of some hazy, 1930’s crap floating around in their heads (Note: I hold no brief for the Republican Party, which I despise, but it is about the last port in this storm).
On to Obama. As I have written before, this foreigner was born in Canada to a mother too young to pass on citizenship, no matter who the real father was (certainly not the hapless African drunk). My brother knew him quite well in Hawaii. Obama is a homosexual with a strong taste for transvestites; he frequented gay bars and my brother dropped him off at a well-known gay bathhouse on a regular basis (he owned a taxi business). Obama is an embittered, arrogant Marxist. He is a classic example of a mulatto, fatherless, determined to revenge himself upon the world.
In general, because conservatives (I’ll take that name over “Republicans” for this question) are IMO more rational and level-headed than the shrill, hysterical, and way too often very irrational people who are leftists.
The following, while a huge generalization, is a statement I will stand by.
I have found that in general, leftists are more prone to getting emotionally worked up than people on the right. They take everything extremely personally, and any criticism or slight against their causes (especially the “oppressed” groups they defend, most of all women and certain nonwhites) is to them an attack on the sincerity with which they hold their views, an assault on how hard they’ve worked/studied to reach their conclusions, or an insult on the activism they’ve devoted themselves to.
I have previously mentioned such a person here. He was a friend. Now, my aggressive, repeated, and blunt attacks on leftist hypocrisy and defenses of Donald Trump on Facebook have led him to all but completely cut off contact. He hasn’t unfriended me, but he has apparently blocked me on other chatting functionalities. He is smart, but he once went off on me when I assertively challenged his ethical case for gun control – he sent me a lengthy tirade defending his ethical positions, his philosophical views, and the lengths he’s gone to believe what he believes. At no point did he attempt to refute my arguments against his arguments – he simply said, “Modern Chronicler, don’t you dare question my zeal! I’m not a newbie philosopher! I’ve devoted years of my life to form my position and only God will change my ideology!”
This individual reacted in a likewise shrill (I love that word, but boy does it trigger leftists) manner when I pointed out that the blacks and Latinos spitting on, pushing, punching, kicking, and bloodying men and women at Trump rallies last year were being criminal. He claimed those people sensed danger to their communities and were being proactive in self-defense.
In polite words, I told him this was a bunch of horse manure of the most hypocritical type. Oppression of minorities, if true, cannot be ethically fought by attacking non-minorities who are simply minding their own business at political rallies of candidates they support; and, the ostensible “oppressors” were nowhere near to be seen at political rallies of the candidates who were favored by the “oppressed.” He got mad and madder, because I had the “gall” to challenge his views and point out that the so-called “oppressed” are very often nothing more than criminal thugs who take advantage of people feeling guilty over past injustices.
Try pointing out this stuff to any of these leftists, such as Antifa, BAMN, or the pathetically naive children at campuses chanting “hey hey ho ho this racist white professor has got to go!” and see what happens. You may use the most diplomatic and erudite language possible; you may dance logical and rational circles around them; you may be non-confrontational with your body language.
At best, they’ll scream at you and point at you and call you names.
At worst, you’ll be physically harmed.
