Ever since the Trudeau government has announced the Cannabis legalization, even the smallest of event is getting enough coverage. Cannabis has virtually become the news maker in the local tabloid these days. The new bill allows 18 and above to possess 30 grams of dried cannabis or its equivalent in cannabis seeds and products. They can even share or buy marijuana from an authorized retailer, besides being able to plant cannabis in their homes for personal use. While the advocating groups are excited with this move and hailing it as a landmark decision in the history of Canada, local masses appear to be somewhat apprehensive, expressing concerns about general preparedness and permissible age group. With that being said, nothing seems to take a u-turn anytime soon. Till July 1st, Ad yourself in the daily and expect it to pair up with yet another story on Cannabis. The only reason the Canadian government is pursuing legalization is to get another source of tax revenue. Considering the crew we have in charge here in Ontario, I expect they’ll regulate it to the point where they lose money legalizing pot and not make a dent in the illegal drug trade.
Sounds about right for government everywhere. The state government of Virginia has a total monopoly on the wholesale and retail liquor business (stores, not bars) and manages to lose money on that business every year.

Cannabis is today’s litmus test for whether a country is really a democracy or not.
Legalize the shit out of it. Hell – legalize it all. If people want to inject speed into their eyeballs – fuck – why not let ’em? Why not? So long as they aren’t driving or operating machinery under the influence, why give a shit?
The best thing about it is to be able to easily legally get the cannabis oil as that is a potent cancer fighter!
And the legalization finally happened in Canada ! so good so nice …
