HAPPY FATHERS DAY

“I believe that what we become depends on what our fathers teach us at odd moments, when they aren’t trying to teach us. We are formed by little scraps of wisdom.” – Umberto Eco

“A father is neither an anchor to hold us back nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way.”

Father’s Day in the Hood – liked it so I wanted to copy it and send it to others.
So, I R-Click, chose Copy Image, pasted to new compose mail but I got an error msg in a dialog box from Yahoo Mail “Attachment Size Limit”.

Went back to the image above and selected ‘view image info’ and copied the source “http://www.chamsko.pl/demot/0_1_65995_Tak_wygladal_dzien_ojca_przez_abando.jpg” and placed that in the address bar of a new tab; after enter, the image came up, I R-Clicked, chose copy image, and the pasted to my new compose mail.

I don’t know why that sequence works, but I’ve used it many times.

Yeah, the most confusing day of the year in the hood: Father’s Day.

I got an email from my daughter today telling me about all the things I’ve done for her. They were all things that I didn’t even realize were going to be remembered and appreciated years later, just ordinary things a Dad does. I’m really lucky to have a daughter who appreciates having a dad. I’m glad I realize how lucky I am, too. It’s been a happy Father’s Day for me. I hope it has been for y’all too.

By every measure, children are worse off without fathers. http://www.fathers.com/statistics-and-research/the-consequences-of-fatherlessness/
