Quite a while back I hit the wrong thumb so I tried clicking the correct thumb and it worked (removed the down-vote and increased the up-vote).
Poor little birds! I hope someone can catch them and get them in.
My add-blocker must block the ‘up/down thumbs’………i have not seen those on my screen in ages. (But wish I could figure out how to get them to display at times)
Quite sad. And likely none of those upper windows even opens to let them in.
