THEY DESERVED IT ACCORDING TO LOWLIFE JOURNALISTS

The Las Vegas massacre reveals, once again, the purulent carbuncle calling itself journalism. Manhattan attorney Lauri Regan commented at American Thinker about CBS vice president Geftman-Gold’s statement, “I’m actually not even sympathetic because country music fans often are republican gun toters”:

With the rise of antifa and violence becoming the norm in shutting down free speech on campuses and elsewhere, it was only time before violence would be condoned by these self-righteous elitists who lack humility and decency for their fellow Americans. It used to be Muslims across the globe cheering successful terror attacks.

Gold’s attitude, namely, “they got what they deserved”, is generally held in her circle. Had she said it in the CBS cafeteria, and perhaps she did, there would have been uncritical agreement. Once said, those at her table would build on it with witty contempt. She got hammered only because she didn’t understand what civil discourse is outside the news media.

My shameful comments do not reflect the beliefs of my former employer, colleagues, family, and friends. Nor do they reflect my actual beliefs.

So she said, after being hammered and fired. We’re to believe she’s sincere now, but wasn’t then. How like an attorney. We’re also to believe she and her “employer, colleagues, family, and friends” are in mourning for those who were, until killed or maimed, despicable Republican gun toters who stupidly opposed all that is good and decent. How like an elitist Columbia snowflake.

They’ve revealed their true thoughts before. When a Bernie Sanders supporter shot up Republican congressmen at baseball practice this June, Scott Pelley at CBS News said the shooting was “self-inflicted”. It was spiking the ball in the end zone, plain and simple.

Not to be outdone, CNN ran a screed entitled, How America Has Silently Accepted the Rage of White Men, which says white guys just naturally do these things, always have, always will. It concludes,

But because this culture is embraced by the race and party that controls the government, it continues to be celebrated and defended in the spirit of love of country.

Don’t look for an apology from CNN or its author, Muslim Girl Magazine editor Naaz Modan, a “student at Georgetown University studying government and journalism” and Huffington Post contributor.

Speaking of Huffington Post, here’s an excerpt from an essay entitled, Trump Supporters Deserve To Die More Than I Do, posted in April of this year. The linked site is an archive, HuffPost took it down recently:

If a bunch of these hypocrites who chanted “lock her up” overdose on Oxy and decimate their Podunk towns, honestly, the human species will be better off without them. It’s practically Darwinian… These are the people who deserve to have their towns annihilated.

It’s easy to believe the media see a cosmic hand in the Las Vegas massacre. They saw it differently from decent people, they saw Deplorables self-assemble and self-compact like fish in a barrel to be mowed down in righteous retribution by a white wacko. Aesop, Poe or Serling couldn’t have scripted it better for them.

As their ISIS-like template would have it, whoever the agent and whatever the details, celestial justice will deliver what their opponents deserve. After all, no less an authority than CNN’s Senior White House Correspondent said, “a lot of these country music supporters were likely Trump supporters”. Ergo, they were on “the wrong side of history”. So it’s thumbs up all around. But discreetly.
