Vegas Hotel Worker Warned Police Of Shooter Before Massacre Began

Tyler Durden's picture

In one of the most shocking developments to emerge in the week-and-a-half since Stephen Paddock killed 59 people and wounded more than 500 others during the worst mass shooting in US history, NBC is reporting that a maintenance worker said Wednesday he told hotel dispatchers to call police and report a gunman had opened fire with a rifle inside Mandalay Bay before Paddock began firing on the Harvest country music festival below.

Worker Stephen Schuck told NBC News that he was checking out a report of a jammed fire door on the 32nd floor of Mandalay Bay when he heard Paddock shoot security guard Jesus Campos in the leg. After the shooting, Campos peeked out from an alcove and told Schuck to take cover.

“As soon as I started to go to a door to my left the rounds started coming down the hallway,” Schuck said. “I could feel them pass right behind my head. “It was kind of relentless so I called over the radio what was going on,” he said.

“As soon as the shooting stopped we made our way down the hallway and took cover again and then the shooting started again.”

Paddock fired more than 200 bullets into the hall and nearby rooms at the beginning of his deadly rampage on Oct. 1.

Somehow, Schuck avoided the bullets.

“I am incredibly blessed that somehow I came out of there alive,” Schuck added.

Before Las Vegas Police unveiled the latest “narrative change” during a Monday press conference, it was believed that Campos had been shot after the rampage, not before. The changeup has raised questions about why Paddock chose to end his rampage and take his own life with a gunshot blast to the head when evidence in his room and truck suggested he intended to escape.

According to the official timeline, Campos was injured at about 9:59 p.m. Six minutes later, at 10:05 p.m., Paddock fired the first shots on concertgoers.

A police SWAT team got to the 32nd floor at 10:17 p.m., and a minute later learned that the security guard was hit and where the shots were fired from.

Mandalay Bay owner MGM Resorts said in a statement that it cannot comment about the ongoing investigation, but raised questions about the timeline since “many facts are still unverified.”

The report has raised questions about whether there was a lapse in communication among first responders that delayed their arrival on the scene.

The police’s latest timeline means it took 19 minutes for Las Vegas police to learn where the fire was coming from, information that Schuck had already relayed to hotel dispatchers.

In an audio recording of Schuck’s dispatch call released by NBC earlier today, Paddock’s first shots into the hallway are clearly audible.

Does anyone else find it odd that the 58 innocents killed number hasn’t changed at all in over a week?

All 500+ injured, pulled through and survived? No deaths from complications?

I’m not trying to be dark…but come on! That is A FUCKINGMAZING! The odds/statistics/sigma on that should be stunning.

The Las Vegas sheriff always looked to me like he was being led around by the nose by FBI handlers. He probably gave info to them but obviously got shite back in return. In awe of the smart cops.

good question brian–
at least one other person died the next day, which raised the death toll from 58 to 59–
within a couple of days after the shooting i saw speculation that the vast # of injuries were from falls when people were panicking and trying to clear the area–
who knows?

The 59th death is supposed to count the shooter who off’ed himself, if I’m not mistaken.

NBC Claims Stephen Paddock Warned Maintenance Worker “To Take Cover” – (He Didn’t)…

That claim is entirely false.

It never happened.

The NBC claim is entirely fake news.

No-where in the interview does the maintenance worker claim that Stephen Paddock warned him to take cover. See for yourself; the interview is below. The maintenance worker specifically states the hotel security guard Jesus “Jose” Campos was the one telling him to take cover.

I tried to follow the official story with trust. However, it keeps getting confusing, I must say.
Did you say he shot the guard, fired 200 rounds into the hallway and 6 minutes later, he began to fire on the crowd? When did he barricade the door and nail it shut?

I’m going back to my original idea; the guard gave the cops the masterkey, they whacked him, staged the scene and an hour later dramatized the door blast for the sake of recording the sound.
That is why he stopped shooting, he was whacked. How the heck do you hear on the radio that they breached the door and suspect is down without even taking a breath or mentioning that they might have to look around?

Real story from real building engineer, or fake story from paid crisis actor?

I hope all these people who know the truth are appreciative of what happened to virtually everyone who heard and reported the explosions from the lower floors of WTC1 and WTC2 on 9/11, all the witnesses who told different stories from the official one about the Kennedy assassination, etc. They are all now DEAD of “accidents.” Undermining an expensive false flag operation with the TRUTH doesn’t sit well with those who stand to benefit and who perpetrated it.

Either TPTB are getting sloppy or enough people no longer trust the media that they question everything. This story has changed so many times and has so many loose ends, someone in the deep state is going to get fired for screwing up the operation.

After Kennedy was shot it took 50 years for some journalists to put together all the threads and show that it was a CIA operation. In the case of 9/11, it took about 5 years to virtually prove the official story was bullshit. Now with the Vegas massacre, the official story is falling apart in weeks.

At this rate we’ll know about the Deep State’s next staged even before it happens.

I’m confused. Which version of the ‘official story’ is now the one they’re going with?

The original one, with all the holes in it, that you were an unhinged lunatic and evil heretic if you didn’t believe and parrot? Or one of the new ‘official’ ones that differ from the original story, and have been presumably constructed from whole cloth to address the shortcomings of the original Officially True™ story?

If the (presumed) forthcoming script changes to the Officially True™ story start to resemble a soap opera, we’ll know they brought in some Hollywood degenerates to help the Federal Bullshit Inventors with the writing.

Paul Craig Roberts has had some interesting stuff on Vegas – a series of emails from surgeons saying the victims, at least the ones who have been interviewed, are crisis actors.

The first article is at https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2017/10/09/military-surgeon-says-videos-las-vegas-gunshot-victims-fake/; he has additional ones supporting that original on his home page.

RE: casualty count. Based on the last sheriff’s update ( fwiw) there were 489 injured and 317 had been treated and released. 182 were still hospitalized with a few dozen still critical as of that report from several days ago.

I’m no doctor but this makes sense. Once you are hospitalized with a gunshot wound your chances of living are pretty good these days. If your wound is mortal, under the circumstances, the ER doctors aren’t going to waste their time on you and will stabilize those who can be expected to survive. Doesn’t mean they will fully recover but they will live.

The very first day (morning after) the Sheriff was asked why it took 72 minutes to breach the door. His answer was because after the encounter with the security guy getting shot (which at that time they were saying was after the shooting on the crowd) the shooting stopped so for the safety of police officers there was not a need to rush in and they waited for swat.

Now that that time line has changed no one has asked that question again.

Radio show host Hal Turner made an interesting discovery the morning after the shooting, and you can hear him at the link below. He did a google search with a date range (I didn’t know this was possible) of Sept 1-Sept 30, which of course was BEFORE the shooting, and found over 20 pre-written articles about Stephen Paddock and the shooting.

Listen to his explanation of HTTP vs. UDP w/regard to google search algos. Draw your own conclusions from that.

I tried to do the same kind of search. I believe the pre-attack results are due to the news article links in the margins, not actual pre-attack articles. For instance, I got an article about a bombing in Chicago from around 1 Sept 17, but Paddock was mentioned in a current news story article in the news story links on the side.

DA’s OFFICE: Vegas Sheriff is FBI Puppet Covering Up Evidence of Second Shooter in Las Vegas Investigation

DA’s OFFICE: Vegas Sheriff is FBI Puppet Covering Up Evidence of Second Shooter in Las Vegas Investigation

Posted on October 11, 2017 by Investigative Bureau

Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo is not telling the truth about the facts uncovered since the mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed 58 and wounded well over 500 people, according to a high-ranking insider from the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.

“Lombardo is a politician and that is all he is,” the DA insider said. “He’s doing and saying what the FBI is telling him and the majority of it makes no sense to anyone who has conducted criminal investigations for any length of time.

“You have to understand the FBI in Las Vegas only takes, they never give anything and this includes information. It is the same with the way they treat the DA’s office and Metro (Las Vegas Police).”
Las Vegas is the county seat of Clark County. Its court system and law enforcement investigations are normally separate from federal court and the FBI.

The DA insider said Aaron Rouse who heads the FBI in Las Vegas reports directly to FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe who is running point on the Las Vegas shooting probe. Rouse, who for years worked under McCabe in the Bureau’s Counterintelligence Division in D.C., was appointed to the Las Vegas post by ex-FBI director James Comey in 2016.

According to the Las Vegas source, Rouse’s FBI has discounted most of the intelligence and evidence found by investigators outside the bureau, including LVMPD as well as solid evidence pinpointed by investigators working with the county DA’s office.

Some of this evidence deals with forensic proof that a second shooter may have opened fire on the concert goers, the law enforcement source said.

When pressed for details on what specifically Lombardo and the FBI are covering up, the DA insider said local investigators, as well as retired law enforcement officers who have volunteered their expertise since the shootings, uncovered fairly impressive forensic evidence that an additional shooter was likely firing from a location closer to the concert crowd than shooter Stephen Paddock’s deadly perch at the Mandalay Bay.

Paddock, the DA insider said, was firing rounds from approximately 400 yards away from the concert from the 32nd floor on Mandalay Bay. The law enforcement source said investigators turned over proof to the FBI that a second shooter was firing from inside a perimeter of approximately 215 yards.

Not only was that intelligence never shared with the public, the investigative leads garnered by Vegas-linked personnel have not been pursued by over 100 FBI agents working the Las Vegas investigation.

The DA insider did not say there is definitively a second shooter but there is very strong evidence which points to that and it has been ignored by the FBI. Certain forensics, the source said, “don’t lie.”

“To my knowledge, the FBI never searched the perimeter for (shell) casings or examined video from the limited number of businesses in that 200 to 235 yard area they were provided on a silver platter,” the sources said. “What you’re seeing instead is very political. This city will change forever because of this and the sheriff is playing politics.

“He’ll probably run for Congress next.”

Lombardo did not return requests for comment.
