One Day Tomorrow Won’t Arrive

Guest Post by Paul Craig Roberts

Before the idiots in Washington get us blown off of the face of the earth, the morons had better come to terms with the fact that the US military is now second class compared to the Russian military.

For example, the US Navy has been made obsolete by Russia’s hypersonic maneuvering Zircon missile.

For example, the speed and trajectory changes of the Russian Sarmat ICBM has nullified Washington’s ABM system. One Sarmet is sufficient to take out Great Britain, or France, or Germany, or Texas. It only takes a dozen to wipe out the United States.

Why don’t you know this?

For example, Washington’s enormously expensive F-35 jet fighter is no match whatsoever for Russian fighters.

For example, US tanks are no match for Russian tanks.

For example, Russian troops are superior in their combat readiness and training and are highly motivated and not worn out by 16 years of pointless and frustrating wars over no one knows what.

If the US ends up in a catastrophic war with a militarily superior power, it will be the fault of Hillary Clinton, the DNC, former CIA director John Brennan and the military/security complex, the presstitute media, and the American liberal/progressive/left, which, made completely stupid by Identity Politics, has allied with neoconservative warmongers against President Trump and prevented Trump from normalizing relations with Russia.

Without normal relations with Russia, nuclear Armageddon hangs over us like the sword of Damocles.

Do you not agree that it is outrageous, astounding, inexcusable, inexplicable, reckless and irresponsible that the Democratic Party, the print and TV media, the military/security complex that is supposed to protect us, and the liberal/progressive/left are working hand in glove to destroy the human race?

Why is there so much opposition to normalizing relations with a nuclear power? Why did even the Greens jump on the anti-Trump propaganda bandwagon. Don’t the Greens understand the consequences of nuclear war?

Why is there such a crazed, insane effort to eject a president who wants to normalize relations with Russia?

Why are these questions not part of the public discourse?

The failure of political leadership, of media, of the intellectual class in America is total.

The rest of the world must find some means of quarantining Washington before the evil destroys life on earth.

But you don’t understand Trump felt a woman’s leg as they were playing slap and tickle on a plane when he was a single up and coming rich guy and he stole the election from a treasonous evil bitch married to a rapist conspiratorial sex maniac and now T-Girls can’t join the army and have their own bathroom OMG the humanity !
So here we are , bankrupt nearly defenseless with a military worn down to a nub and spread thin , and your worried about total nuclear destruction of everything .
Where are your priorities , it must be white privilege ! Ya sure OK ! I’ll be in the bunker with a double Manhattan if you need me while I still have ice ! LMAO THE WICKED PRINCE IS FREEEE !!!!

A military is made first or second class by its leadership, not its weapons.

Because it’s the men that fight, not the weapons.

History is replete of examples of this, both ancient and modern ones.

That’s generally true.

Specifically, in WWII the Polish folk sent Cavalry against German tanks. How did that work out?

It should not be an either/or proposition. America should be able to field BOTH machines and men.

WWIII will be over very quickly if such weapons are deployed…in a matter of hours, actually. There will be no time to deploy any troops or exercise any strategies.

How does PCR know this shit? Russia’s 5th generation fighter hasn’t even entered production yet. Same with it’s latest tank and how many of them will be built? Who the fuck knows how Russian soldiers would fight? They didn’t do dick in Afghanistan, nor in WW1…

Having said all this, if we did go to war with Russia, I’d root for ’em…

PS, Israel lost an F35 that was illegally bombing targets in Syria. The Israelis say it was a bird strike but others are saying that it was a Vietnam-era Soviet SA-2 missile that took it out. I hope it was the latter…

You’re absolutely wrong about the Russian front-line soldiers in WWI – study the history before rendering an opinion. OTOH the Russian High Command was incredibly inept, almost as much so as the British.

Regarding Zara’s post–
Who are the 5 sorry sob s who said they would root for Russia if we fight them?
Who are the 5 sorry sob s who think it is great that a Vietnam era missile might have taken out our latest and most advanced plane?

I don’t think calling people “sorry sob’s” is an effective way to get a response.

Maybe you don’t even want one.

Nevertheless I am positive you can come up with at least one scenario for each case. BB, not do much. But, you’re pretty smart.

Hint:. ‘MURICA FIRST, HOO AHH!!,’ isn’t always the best choice.

There is absolutely nothing wrong w/disagreeing w/American policy, either foreign or domestic.
However, when you state or agree w/someone else’s statement that you are glad that our modern war making eqpt does not perform as well as our adversary’s 50yo war making eqpt, you have stepped over a line. That means our guys are more likely to die. What if it were an advanced AWACs type plane w/technicians trained by Maggie–tell her how gleeful you are that her friends died.
Even worse, when you state that you would pull for our adversary in a conflict, you have stepped far over that line.
Though you probably do not mean it as such,I fail to see the difference between your position and the George Soros/Antifa position regarding America.
Think it over and if you don’t change your mind between now and Sat.,Antifa is having enough rallies that there should be one close to you guys who disagree w/me.
Btw,BB is not so bad-some of his bbisms have been pretty good.

If the US went to war with Russia I would absolutely root for Russia. I can’t think of any scenario in which I would want the US and it’s “allies” win anything. In every way when the US loses, Americans win.

One big liability we face militarily is that our war machine is powered almost entirely by hydrocarbons, the supply of which could be interrupted. May I suggest we designate the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) as a Strategic Military Petroleum Reserve?

Wascally Wabbit – do you then think our Aircraft Carriers should have a Windmill installed on the flight deck? I don’t know where the solar panels will go, except maybe the flight deck instead of steel or titanium.

How did you get windmills & solar from my proposed “Strategic Military Petroleum Reserve”? WTF?

Unfortunately, I’ll have to call bull on most of the author’s claims.

US fighters may be overrated in many respects, but they are still better than their chinese/russian counterparts.

US tanks have seen iterative design thanks to trial by fire.

I’m ignorant of ICBM’s, and so will not comment.

Infantry…, I’d put ours up against pretty much anyone else. In ways we are deficient we make in others.

They have the leadership edge over us though, our politicians abandoned their patriotism decades ago.

PS: Only a madman wants war with the US or Russia.

Everyone thinks there’s going to be a huge build up of troops, tanks, materials and so forth.

Everyone thinks it’s going to be be replay of Gulf War I when we sat in the desert built up troops, thumped our chests and then kicked off a massive invasion.

Nope, not going to happen.

What will unfold is a ‘flash war.’
It will be unleashed in a matter of hours by Russian missile forces with tactical nukes.
Gone will be our carrier groups, foreign bases, points of supply and so forth.

There won’t be any UN resolutions.
No yip-yap in the media justifying actions.

Nope.
It will unfold within 24 hours and then the US will sue for peace.
It will be a forward decapitation of US forces overseas rendering the USA impotent.

Wrap your skulls around it.

Did I mention there most likely be a limited number of nuclear strikes on the USA?!

You prayed for it–your apocalypse will unfold before your eyes.

Not even sure why I’m responding as this thread is dead. Anyways …

A scenario whereby someone might root for Russia.

— What if America is ruled by a despotic demonic dictator? Leads us into war for no reason? Want to rule the world? The populace or other leaders can’t remove him from power. I would root for Russia.

— What if people are just fucking sick and fucking tired of all the shit in this country? Whether rational or not, what if people thought rooting for Russia would make their lives better? Then root for Russia.

— What if God told YOU to root for Russia? You would root for Russia.

— What if it were to become clear that the book of Revelation is 100% true, and coming to fruition … and to the surprise of many … AMERICA is the Beast/Whore of Babylon/etc.? I would root for Russia.

========================

Why someone might root for that F-35 being shot down?

First, it’s NOT because the pilot dies.

How about because that plane is a motherfucking disaster? A boondoggle. A piece of shit. How about the fact that most experts know this? Yet, how about fact that the Mic/government/Generals are not doing a goddamn thing about it … even though prodigious studies exist how shitty the plane is. How about because that jet WILL kill pilots when going against other fighters, due to the many broken/inferior aspect of that plane.

Maybe, just MAYBE ……. an inferior technology shooting down America’s bestest most fiercest fighter WILL WAKE UP SOME MOTHERFUCKERS since nothing else will???

Yeah, I’m happy that POS got shot down …. while hoping the plot lived.

As for rooting for Russia, I’ll just note two facts.

1. Every time the US wins a war, we get LESS freedom. Every time.
2. When the US loses a war, we get less war. Think Vietnam. After the US turned it’s tail and ran culminating in April 1975, the US military was tamed for about 15 years. Oh yeah, a few minor skirmishes but nothing major. Nor was there much in the reduction of liberty either.

Thus the obvious conclusion is that if you dig Baseball, Apple Pie and Chevrolet, you WANT the US to lose a war (and lose big time so that there is no denying it).

Now as for the F-35 yeah, exactly what you said. Plus it was an Israeli plane bombing shit that it had no business bombing. In this instance not only am I happy the plane was destroyed, I hope the fucking pilot went down with it. One less F35 + One less Israeli fighter/bomber + One less Israeli war criminal = One happy Zara.

PS, I happen to know that the plane made it back to base, but was determined too badly damaged to repair.

I didn’t see you guy’s replies until just now,I didn’t scroll down far enough, and I’m heading for bed.
You’ve convinced me.
A son of Austrian immigrants who’s mother country would have been enslaved by the Russians if not for the US and a Pastafarian who very much likes and admires a country that until recently Russia was hostile to.
Russia must be ok.
