Huffy “heroes”

Guest Post by Eric Peters

Here’s a great video of a couple of guys testing whether the 1st Amendment is still operative. “Heroes” – and “heroines” – wish it weren’t and routinely act as though it were not.

These guys test the waters by taking video of “hero/heroine” nests such as court buildings and so on from public sidewalks – which (for the moment) is still a legal act protected by the 1st Amendment.

What’s interesting about these videos is the display of routine, flagrant contempt for the law – and the lawful rights – of the victims. Citizens are harassed and threatened with impunity by these costumed (and heavily armed and itchy-fingered) geeks. They radiate hate like a chunk of plutonium. Look into their eyes. They are not the eyes of people “serving” – although they are “protecting.”

Their endless prerogatives, that is.

Any citizen who confronted a “hero” in the same manner – including physically impeding them – would be charged with a criminal act, having violated the law as well as the right of even “heroes” to not be abused. Would be arrested, caged – tried and punished. Indeed, would be punished more severely – because it is a worse crime to violate the sanctity of a “hero.”

Yet, “heroes” can and do violate the law – on video – and are almost never even relieved of their “duties” for such. Forget criminal prosecution. This is halting when you reflect that their “job” – as they constantly remind us – is to “enforce the law.”

But they are permitted to display absolute contempt for “the law.”

This is so because the real “law” is their fragile vanity and sense of themselves as a special class of person above the rest of us, entitled to deference and awe – “the law” be damned.

They become infuriated when the proper respect – especially for their Authority – is not shown.

Irrespective of “the law.”

We are obliged – as they see it – to answer their belligerent questioning, and when the victims of these tactics point out that they are under no legal obligation to answer, the “heroes” get huffy and demand to know why their victims are being “uncooperative.”

The “heroes” will often trot out that their victim is behaving “suspiciously” – a catch-all of the same species as “climate change” that can mean anything – made to suit, as it were.

And does.

The bogeyman of “911” is another justifies-anything (and “the law” be damned) eructation. Say the Magic Words and a citizen/victim is expected to become immediately supine. Everything – especially that inconvenient old rag the Bill of Rights – must take a back seat to “911.”

A particularly hilarious – and depressing – moment occurs when one of the “heroes” – nominally a “heroine” – demands to know why the guys filming are wearing dark sunglasses. It’s not just a double standard – it’s a form of schizophrenia which afflicts costumed and armed government geeks. It’s the same disease that enabled ordinary Germans to do unspeakable things to their fellow Germans and ordinary Russians and so on throughout history, which repeats because human nature has yet to change for the better.

I’ve stated this before and will do so again: These people – the “heroes” and “heroines” in these videos – are ready to do anything to us. They will – if so “ordered” – come to our homes to take our guns – and possibly, us.

It will be “their job” and “the law.”

Why not? They already routinely take our freedom. Whatever scraps of it remain will shortly become the objects of their attentions, too.

Wait.

And they won’t lose a moment’s sleep over it, because their minds are damaged to the extent their egos are inflated. These damaged people are armed and dangerous – to us. If you still live under the delusion that they are “public servants” and “serve and protect” us – let alone that they are “heroes” – you are in for an extremely rude awakening.

Wow, the guys making this video are retarded. And I use that term in a clinical way, not as a slander. I am not saying that the first woman isn’t wrong, what I mean is that if this guy came up to your house and started filming I bet every one of you would have the same response as these folks.

If a person is not breaking the law leave them alone. I park on the street in neighborhoods all the time as part of my job. People are crazy over who is parking in front of their house and call the cops. I finally got fed up with it. Once someone approaches my car to start questioning me, I simply call the cops on them for harassment. The cops come and the crying begins. Leave me the hell alone bitchez.

Welcome to Murica.

Well, I probably would.

But my house is not public property.

And news crews stand outside peoples houses and film them all the time when they have managed to make themselves newsworthy for various reasons.

Reminds me of a statement I made yesterday on an unrelated Post.

These guy’s are ‘poking a bear’; seems to me that this will agitate the police for future altercations with citizens where the citizens did not do any ‘poking’ but they may receive the ‘benefits’ of this ‘poking’.

So….the answer is? Shut up and obey lowly citizen?

Be polite and unless it offends anyone, answer their questions.

At some point it may be necessary to ask “Am I free to go”.

Q: “Am I being detained?”, A: “No”, Q: “Am I free to go?”, repeat as necessary.

Why are “protectors” seen as “bears?” The old “beat cop” was not. What happened?

There is no doubt our camera cowboys were attempting to provoke an encounter and the law enforcement people failed to defuse their efforts by merely walking away . There is a point to be made that as a Free citizen of the United States of America no government official can question or detain without provable cause how ever over a short space of time that protection of provable cause has been eroded . Law enforcement take full advantage of that erosion of civil liberties . Our illustrious Attorney General lost my respect when he laughed about the asset forfeiture without charge or conviction of a crime as something to be encouraged . Talk about creating an us and them mentality which I believe our cowboys were attempting to flush out although it’s there , perhaps the next shift will be a little more likely to oblige them . It would be wrong to do so but very possible . The badge wearing minions will quickly fall back on the just doing my job excuse which in many cases is a load of crap but a judge will support it , then what ? You are screwed !

If the people behind Black Lives Matter hadn’t ignorantly believed that blacks are disproportionately the victims of police shootings and hadn’t chosen as their martyrs a cast of thugs, they could have started an inclusive movement against police brutality and harassment. People on both ends of the political spectrum could have agreed. Lost opportunity.

That’s why God invented pepper spray and tasers, idiots like these two. You have the right to have your eyes burn like a mother fucker. You have the right to have 6000 volts of electricity shoot through your body if you give me a hard time. What a couple of punks. Find something useful to do with your time. ” I got her badge number.” Great job. Now stick it up your ass, loser.

Star – fuck that. You do not need a reason to exercise your rights. None at all. “Just because I wanna”is good enough. They may be idiots, but they have every right to do what they did. And should have been left alone to do it.

I hate cops.

Ambivilent on cops. What gets my goat is people who poke the bear. Too much conflict in the world as it is. When I was a kid, you didn’t provoke anybody, it would be an easy way to lose a few teeth. I see people all the time in other people’s faces, confident that their ‘rights’ are going to protect them. Clueless as to what could happen. I’m not a pure survival of the fittest type guy, but man, have we gone WAY too far in the other direction. Gerold has an interesting post today, I live in an urban area, our population contains an overly high percentage of the worst kinds of people. Yet I see chicks out jogging by themselves at midnight without a care in the world. I don’t get it. We have lost our minds.

Star – the issue is cops should not be bears. They look for reasons to assume they are being poked. Exercising your rights is not poking a damn thing. Cops are thugs, plain and simple. They were not poked. They did the fucking poking.,

This is complete bullshit. You go and stand around video taping in front of a courthouse and you don’t expect the Sheriff’s to react. I’ve done this job for 20 years. You deal with all sorts of people. Some very dangerous. Some very dangerous with potential outside help. You show up and start video taping the comings and goings of the sheriff’s vehicles and standing around their bay…….What the fuck do you think’s going to happen. What the Officer should have said was “yes Sir I realize you can video tape here. But do you realize who I have to deal with on a day to day basis? Don’t you think it’s ok I’m concerned about who you might be video taping my Officers coming and going?” This isn’t about exercising the 1st Amendment. This is about being a dick.

Some of you know I had an altercation with police in a nearby burg last spring. It scared the crap out of me for a number of reasons and on multiple levels.

It made me aware of scales on my eyes.

Many badge wearing men& women are fine people of reasonable minds and temperament , something required to carry weapons in public coupled with authority and responsibility to use when necessary . Sadly others are badge wearing minions full of we the fucking people roid rage as they brandish that just doing my job as a catch all to relieve them of accountability , these are the ones who eventually wind up behind the 8 ball . Like the peckerhead that manhandled the nurse over an accident victims blood test even after a full explanation of the protocol officer pecker Head was ignoring . He was fired and the nurse will get a fat check to pad her savings account , to bad it doesn’t come out of the police retirement fund . If it did we would see a little more internal affairs weeding out the badge wearing assholes !
