Washington has already lost the Syrian war once. Now it is about to lose it a second time.
A few days ago the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, declared a “complete victory” in Syria:
“Two hours ago, the (Russian) defense minister reported to me that the operations on the eastern and western banks of the Euphrates have been completed with the total rout of the terrorists.”
The Iranian commander of the forces which support the Syrian and Iraqi governments sent a note to the U.S. to let Washington know that any remaining U.S. forces in Syria will be fought down:
“The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp Brigadier General Haj Qassem Soleimani sent a verbal letter, via Russia, to the head of the US forces commander in Syria, advising him to pull out all US forces to the last soldier ‘or the doors of hell will open up.’”

“My message to the US military command: when the battle against ISIS (the Islamic State group) will end, no American soldier will be tolerated in Syria. I advise you to leave by your own will or you will be forced to it.” http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/48387.htm
According to reports, Russia has confirmed that Iran will stay in Syria as long as Syrian President Assad, who insists on liberating all of Syria without exception for the Americans, decides. Washington’s plan to occupy a corner of Syria and revive ISIS is dead in the water, as will be all US troops sacrificed to this purpose.
According to reports, CIA director Mike Pompeo sent a letter to Soleimani expressing his concern about Iran’s intention to attack American interests, declaring Washington “will hold Soleimani and Iran accountable for any attack.”
According to reports the CIA’s letter had no effect and was treated with total contempt:
“Mohammad Mohammadi Golpayegani, a senior aid to the Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei confirmed Pompeo’s attempt to send a letter but said ‘Soleimani refused to read it or to take it because he has nothing further to add.’ Sources in the area believe it is not unlikely that Kurdish troups – operating in al-Hasaka and who are faithful to the government of Damascus – are willing to be spearheaded against the US forces. Many of these troups remained loyal to Syria: they reject any occupation forces on its land or the partition of the country.”
There are references to 1983 events where hundreds of US Marines and French paratroopers were killed following double suicide attacks by Islamists in Beirut. As a consequence of these attacks, the American forces left in a rush. The future could well mirror this past event. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/48388.htm
Possibly this is fake news. If not, we must accept that the humiliation that the United States, its government and its peoples have suffered is the work of the Neoconservatives and their doctrine of American World Hegemony. It is the Neoconservatives who caused the US to be at war with Muslims for 16 years. It is the Neoconservaives acting through Obama and Hillary who brought America to humiliating defeat in Syria.
There are only a handful of these neoconservatives. Why do Americans tolerate them?
Why doesn’t Trump have them arrested? They are anti-American, pro-Israel to the core. The Neoconservatives are the worst enemy of Americans and of all mankind.
It looks like the Russians have had enough of Washington’s arrogance. https://www.rt.com/news/412590-russia-us-syria-air-force/
Russian general Konashenkov, whose Su-35 chased away the inferior US F-22 that was attempting to interfere with a Russian attack on ISIS said that any claims made by US military officials concerning the fact that there is “any part of the airspace in Syria that belongs to the US” are “puzzling.” Konashenkov also said that “Syria is a sovereign state and a UN member and that means that there can be no US airspace ‘of its own.’ Unlike the Russian Air Force, the US-led coalition is operating in Syria without any legal basis.”
Will Washington realize that it has squandered its leadership in the Middle East and go home, or will Washington bring more humiliation upon America?
Ugh, I could see this being sold to us as a betrayal.
“Our ‘allies’ in Syria turned on us and killed all the American Troops on their soil! Thank God we have REAL allies like Israel and Saudi Arabia who can provide us FOBs to launch attacks on Iran/Iraq/Syria! Victory in 24 hours. Donald Trump Out.” *mic drop*

Putin Orders Withdrawal Of Russian Troops During Surprise Syria Visit
by Tyler Durden
Dec 11, 2017 9:31 AM
Drawing a stark contrast between himself and his counterpart in the US, Russian President Vladimir Putin made a surprise appearance at Khmeimim Airbase in Syria – which has traditionally been used by the Russian air force – on Monday morning, where he ordered the withdrawal of Russian troops from Syria, now that the ISIS insurgency that once controlled roughly one-third of the country’s land area has been effectively dismantled.
The Russian president was met by his Syrian counterpart, Bashar al-Assad, and Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu at the airbase. Russian forces fighting with the Syrian Army during the country’s civil war were stationed at the base. Putin ordered the withdrawal of Russian troops to begin immediately, according to Russia Today.
“I order the defense minister and chief of the general staff to start the withdrawal of Russian troops to the site of their permanent deployment,” Putin said, speaking to a crowd of Russian soldiers. The Russian leader said that during the span of two years, the Russian and Syrian militaries have “defeated the most battle-hardened grouping of international terrorists,” adding that he’s decided a significant portion of the Russian troop contingent should return to Russia.
Putin warned that if ISIS tries to “rear their heads” in Syria again, Russia will retaliate with a level of force that “they have never seen before.” The Russian leader added that the conditions for a political settlement under the auspices of the United Nations had been created in Syria, and that refugees were returning home.
Putin was told that about 70,000 square kilometers (about 43,500 square miles) of Syrian territory has been liberated and 32,000 terrorists killed in the last seven months of the operation. Russian special forces, military police and 25 aircraft will leave Syria, and a field hospital will be removed, according to the commander of the Russian forces in Syria, Colonel-General Sergey Surovikin.
The Russian president said that the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria would continue its work, and that Russia would continue to use the Khmeimim Airbase and the Syrian port of Tartus, which provides technical support for the Russian Navy.
Putin is now headed to Cairo, where he is scheduled to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
It’s worth noting that Putin’s decision to withdrawal Russian personnel stands in stark contrast to the US, which appears to be moving toward a semi-permanent air presence in the battle-torn, Iran-allied country.
Last month, US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis told reporters at the Pentagon that the US is preparing for a long term military commitment in Syria to fight ISIS “as long as they want to fight.” Mattis indicated that even should ISIS loose all of its territory there would still be a dangerous insurgency that could morph into an “ISIS 2.0” which he said the US would seek to prevent. “The enemy hasn’t declared that they’re done with the area yet, so we’ll keep fighting as long as they want to fight,” Mattis said. “We’re not just going to walk away right now before the Geneva process has traction.”
I came, I saw, I conquered ….. and then I left!
Wow. THAT’S leadership.
Can we “write in” Putin in the next USA!USA!USA! presidential election?
More humiliation on the way (and more innocent deaths).
(((Why doesn’t Trump have them arrested?)))
PCR: “They are anti-American, pro-Israel to the core. The Neoconservatives are the worst enemy of Americans and of all mankind.”
In other words, Israel is the worst enemy of Americans and all mankind.
Precisely.
‘Soleimani refused to read it or to take it because he has nothing further to add.’
Precisely the treatment you’d expect when your military is riddled with diversity hires, feminists and faggots in heels.
Trump will take FULL CREDIT for defeating ISIS in Syria for the next three years, believe me.
He alone made Syria great again.
If only it were that simple. My guess is that the story will be:
1) America is there to fight ISIS
2) Iran is fighting America in Syria, therefore…
3) Iran is backing ISIS therefore…
4) “We” have to fight Iran in Syria (and eventually in Iran)
You seriously could not make this shit up. If any of our troops want to go AWOL and run off to Canada (or elsewhere), I’ll be the first send them my support.
This is why the US supports ISIS while pretending to oppose it:

“There are only a handful of these neoconservatives. Why do Americans tolerate them?”
Rhetorical question, right?
yo PCR – possibly another case/version of “what goes around, comes around”? I think so!
Trump’s Jerusalem decision results in entire ME united against us. ME policy a total clusterfuk. Good read, perspectives you might not have considered.
Isis is not defeated. It changed its name and went to a different battlefield. They will only be defeated in a given geographical area when there are no mohammedans in that area. Until the west realizes that the west loses.
