I have a personal dislike for NJ due to an incident back when SA imposed an oil embargo and gasoline was a concern.
I was traveling from CT on I-95 to Fla on va-cay with wife and stopped at one of those big NJ Tpke rest areas with food and gas. Recall that CT and NJ (along with other states) had agreements for all their citizens to obtain gas.
While filling up my gas tank, some NJ coward in the car behind me started yelling out that I was not from NJ and dispensing gas – he was trying to get other males to join him to oust me from the gas pumps.
Some other guy finally told the POS about the Gas Agreements.
