A couple of decades or more ago when I was still in Washington, otherwise known as the snake pit, I was contacted by a well-financed group that offered me, a Business Week and Scripps Howard News Service columnist with access as a former editor also to the Wall Street Journal, substantial payments to promote agendas that the lobbyists paying the bills wanted promoted.
To the detriment of my net worth, but to the preservation of my reputation, I declined. Shortly thereafter a conservative columnist, a black man if memory serves, was outed for writing newspaper columns for pay for a lobby group.
It is my sincere desire to provide readers of this site with the best unbiased information available, and a forum where it can be discussed openly, as our Founders intended. But it is not easy nor inexpensive to do so, especially when those who wish to prevent us from making the truth known, attack us without mercy on all fronts on a daily basis. I often wondered if he was set up in order to get rid of him and whether the enticement I received was intended to shut me down, or whether journalists had become “have pen will travel”? (Have Gun—Will Travel was a highly successful TV Series 1957-1963).
Having read Bryan MacDonald’s article on Information Clearing House, “Anti-Russia Think Tanks in US: Who Funds them?,” I see that think tanks are essentially lobby groups for their donors. The policy analyses and reform schemes that they produce are tailored to support the material interests of donors. None of the studies are reliable as objective evidence. They are special pleading.
Think tanks, such as the American Enterprise Institute, Brookings Institution, and the Atlantic Council, speak for those who fund them. Increasingly, they speak for the military/security complex, American hegemony, corporate interests, and Israel.
Bryan MacDonald lists those who support the anti-Russian think tanks such as the Atlantic Council, the Center for European Policy Analysis, German Marshall Fund of the US, and Institute for Study of War. In other words insouciant Americans pay taxes in order to be brainwashed. And they tolerate this.
The mainstream media has always been dishonest.
I was a young person when President Kennedy was assassinated, remembering it well, even seeing some of the “news anchors” of the day smirking and smiling during their television “news presentations” of the assassination. I thought to myself, even back then, “how much prior knowledge did THEY have about that pivotal event of the time?” Being a voracious reader (to this very day), I purchased and read “The Warren Commission Report on Assassinations” when it came out, and almost instantly thought to myself “what a crock of sh!t”. Even at that early age, I was able to see through the BS.
I had no doubt that the CIA or other “deep state” agencies had control of the American mainstream media and DID twist news stories in order to promote their agenda, even back then.
Forward to the deliberate Israeli act of war against the USA with the attack on the USS Liberty (GTR-5) on June 8, 1967. Lyndon Johnson’s “plan” (false flag) for the USS Liberty was to have all sailors perish and blame it on Egypt, giving Israel and it’s proxy, the USA, an “excuse” to go into Egypt. When his “plan” failed, and he was forced to feign an “excuse” that it was a “mistake” and “misidentification”, letting the Israelis “off the hook” as he “did not want to embarrass an ally”. The “fix” was in”. The “investigation” involving John McCain’s “daddy” was insurance that it would be “whiitewashed”.
Normally, the 50th anniversary of any notable historical event warrants a mention from the “mainstream media”. There was NOT ONE PEEP out of the press on the 50th anniversary (June 8, 2017) of the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. This is proof of outside influences on the “mainstream media”, evident on the news blackout of the 50th anniversary of this “act of war” by our “ally”, Israel. THAT, my friends is telling…

The lead investigator for the Warren Commission was……… John Dullas. The same guy JFK fired as head of the CIA for the botched Bay of Pigs incident. I’m quite certain Mr. Dullas did not produce an accurate or truthful report.
Allen Dulles was the former CIA director who served on the Warren Commission. His brother John F. Dulles had been Sec of State, and both were long-time members of the Rockefeller CFR. Allen Dulles, a CFR director for 40 years, also oversaw the CIA “Operation Mockingbird” to manipulate the US media.
The CFR is the premier “think tank” to which all the others are connected. Brookings, Aspen, Bilderberg, Atlantic Council, Davos, etc. are loaded with CFR members. CFR sponsors include Citigroup, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Google, Facebook, Reuters, Time-Warner, etc. Several of their execs are also CFR members. See lists in the CFR annual report.

Let’s assume it is true that an unarmed Iranian drone was flying near (or over) the Golan Heights which although Israel claims as their territory, its annexation is not accepted internationally. Given that Israel attacks Syria whenever the fuck it feels like it, a little recon would seem reasonable…to a reasonable person.
Nevertheless Israel goes apeshit and starts bombing Syria. In the process one of it’s jets is shot down (big grin). Now it is both apeshit and butt hurt and bombs moar shit in Syria, screaming that it has a right to defend itself against Iranian aggression.
The US agrees with Israel.
Iran denounces Israeli lies.
Russia is mostly silent but no doubt agrees with Iran.
Isn’t the truth rather obvious?

Israeli activity in Syria has opened a lot of eyes.
Most interesting fact to me is that the Syrians apparently shot down the Israeli F-16.
Just out of idle curiosity, how would any of you behave if you were surrounded by a sea of hostility, all favoring genocide of you and yours?
What would you do for survival if you lived on the verge of Selco’s time in Bosnia?
That “sea of hostility” is caused by Israel’s encroachment and takeover of Palestinian land. If I saw my fig groves destroyed by the IDF and jewish settlers taking over MY land, I would be pissed too.
Israel is the problem…
I would move to a safer environment. If you live in Detroit and are surrounded by hostiles who seek nothing other than to take your shit and hurt you, you fucking move away. You don’t start setting their houses on fire and shooting them indiscriminately. Oh you can do it, but it just makes you a criminal.
