They Are All Cowards

Guest Post by Robert Bronsdon (Hollywood Rob)

I do apologize if this has been posted on this blog in the past as it was originally from 2004 and this version is from 2015, but I think that it is very important.  It amazes me that the strongest voices that we can hear for freedom come from people like Douglas Murray.  You would think that he would want to stay in the background living a quiet life away from the constant danger presented by an inflamed passion in religious form but he steps up, takes up the banner, and expresses himself with quiet conviction.  He is a very brave man.

Now I know this is a long video and we all have a lot to do but at some point he explains that the one thing that we have learned is that everyone in the press is a coward.  Everyone in government is a coward.  Most certainly every police officer is a coward.  And this is particularly important now because we can see that not only are they all cowards, but that the supreme court has declared that it is fine that they are cowards and that you have no reason to believe that they be anything other than a coward.

The cowards who hid while children were killed cry out that they are not cowards.  They are cowards.  The security and police in Las Vegas who cowed outside the hotel room door while grownups were mowed down at a concert were cowards.  The man who grabbed his AR and chased down the church shooter was heroic.  He didn’t have body armor.  I don’t know about your armed government enforcers but here in LA every single one of them from the mayor to the dog catcher wears a bullet proof vest.  They are all cowards.

None of us like to think of ourselves as cowards.  Can you put yourself into the mind of the LEOs who hid while the shooter killed those children?  Could you sleep at night?  Would you hide?  A coward?  I hope that you would say no but I suspect that a fair number would hide.  Why would you hide?  Well you would hide for two very important reasons.  The first is that you have nothing with which you might confront the attacker.  You don’t have a gun and you don’t know how to shoot one anyway.  You don’t even know how to click off the safety so the gun wouldn’t go off if you pulled on the trigger on the gun that you don’t have.

The second is that you have come to accept that it is not your duty to confront the shooter.  Others are coming with more body armor than you have; with bigger guns and more crime scene tape than you have.  You have accepted that the school is a gun free zone and you never once complained about it except under your breath at the breakfast table while reading an article from some blue haired harpy or soy boy about how the state must control your ability to defend yourself.

Well it is not their duty to defend you.  The supreme court has ruled as much.  So who is it that is likely to defend you if you are sitting in a church or a classroom or walking in a train station or riding in your car or sitting in the park or sleeping in your bed.  It is you and it is only you and it has always been only you.  Either you learn how to defend yourself or you throw the dice and hope that nobody ever tries to kill you.  Those are the only choices.  All the police will ever do is come and put tape around your body and that isn’t going to make things better for you.

Most blue haired harpies and soy boys solve this problem by moving into gated communities with guards with guns.  They feel that they will never need to shoot anybody because they hired somebody else to shoot whoever comes close.  That might work for you if you have enough money.  Of course, those mean nasty people who carry illegal guns have managed on occasion to break into the gated communities and kill people and steal shit but still, the gated community thing should work most of the time.  But what do you do if you don’t have the money to live in a gated community with armed guards?  What if you live on a farm?  What if you can only afford a little house on a nice wooded lot or worse yet you have to live in a row house in Baltimore or Chicago?  Are you supposed to just sit there and serve as a bullet stop to protect the police?  The police certainly are not required to protect you.

Now statistics are on your side.  Not only is it incredibly unlikely that you will ever have to defend yourself in any way, it is actually the case that the vast majority of police only take their weapons out of the holster to either clean them or shoot them at a range.  And yet, the probability is not 0.  Shootings happen all the time and you might find yourself involved.  If you are not ready…  If you do not know how to respond in an appropriate manner…  If your government has taken away your gun or told you that you can’t carry it in the place that you need it…  If YOU can’t do the right thing then your only two options are to run and hide or throw your body in front of the shooter.  The second option won’t work out too well for you but it might help somebody else.

The second amendment is not there to protect our right to hunt.  It is not there to protect our right to kill paper at a gun range.  It is there to enforce the will of the citizens in the protection of the first amendment and all of the other rights guaranteed in the bill of rights.  It does not matter if you are a hero or a coward if the government has taken away your right to protect yourself and your freedoms.  If you want to have rights, any rights, then it is incumbent upon you to stand up for those rights.  It is you who must convince other blue haired harpies and soy boys that they too are responsible for protecting themselves.  It doesn’t matter how frustrating it is.  You have to do it.  You have to remember your talking points.  You must have your data at hand and be able to point to the proof that you are right and they are wrong.  And once they soften to your argument invite them to a range for a day of shooting.  Show them where the safety is.  Teach them to be responsible and be able to defend themselves.

If you don’t do it who will?  If you don’t do it now when will you do it?

I often tell those that will listen. If you only knew what these people have done. I usually get the deer in the headlight look. Cowards!!!! Sit in their ivory towers and send our finest young men to their foreign profit driven interventions. Only to be sent home physically and emotionally scared. The same cowards then pass laws to pretend to help, but only seek to take away their freedoms. Cowards!!! Sit in their ivory towers and give police jobs to who they think are protected classes. Weak minds, women because they are women, minorities because they are minorities, Mentally Ill that are confused of their gender.Because that is the way of their diversity. Or so to ram it down our throats. All the while the best to be police are passed over. Cowards!!!! Invade our education system. Telling our boys that they are the problem in today’s society. Convincing them that perhaps they would be better off girls or to the very least Soy boys. The ends justify the means for those that are responsible for this, and the ends will. When it reaches the boiling point. All those fine young lives they messed up with their wars will come to get them. Then when all those minorities and single mothers and the gender confused.Along with their union cronies will prove to be the real Cowards. Payback will be a bitch…..

Bilco…I upvoted your passionate post. But…the edit delay is there for a reason: “scared” means afraid, and scarred means wounded. I’m not a grammar Nazi, just an old man who hates to see passion override accuracy. In friendship. Keep up the good work.

The thing about courage is that it is not a tangible commodity. It cannot be defined except by the individual, the mind sorts out options. Courage and sacrifice are similar but not the same. You can sacrifice without being courageous, you cannot be courageous without sacrificing. The human condition is to preserver, life is the most precious of all things, yet its’ value cannot be determined except by the individual. Those that do not value life are the cowards. Valuing all phases of human life from conception on is the true ideal of what courageous is. We all choose to step up to the plate or not. We hope that we have it within ourselves when that moment arrives, it is not moral relativism, it is right or wrong, good against evil. We know what needs to be done. God, please grant us the wisdom to be courageous!

The fat guy two stories up had your tits too but the assholes shot him twice in the back. Do you have a big fat back too? Besides, it is the talking and convincing that is most important. Go hunt down your harpy and drag her kicking and screaming up into the light.

I think it best you go back and listen to this gentleman again. He “explains” no such thing close to what you wrote. To suggest EVERYONE in the press is a coward and EVERYONE in the government is a coward and EVERY cop is a coward is nothing but you adding your little bit of hyperbolic bullshit.

If that’s what you believe, fuckin great. But, that’s not what he said.

So I watched the video of the limey. Here’s my problem: He starts off his speech by talking about how Western governments are fond of attacking symptoms rather than the underlying problems (something I have said for years to toot my own horn). He then provides the example of female genital mutilation in Britian. Specifically he states fgm was outlawed in Britain 30 years ago and since then no one has been convicted of it despite thousands of “British girls” (his words) being mutilated.
In what universe are they British? I will fucking guarantee they are not. These aren’t pale little english girls from Surrey being mutilated, they are shitskins from the Indus or the Sahel, or who-gives-a-shit-wherever. By bending the lexicon, you help further the problem, do you not? You obfuscate the problem; and how can you fight what you can’t see? Call them what they are.
Socialists have 150 years of manipulating the language to further their own goals (I point you to words like liberal, dreamer, etc.).

Human nature dictates that the person with all of the bragging about what they would do in a school shooting (this especially includes “law enforcement”) actually would cower in fear, while the 90 lb. armed teacher would reluctantly, but successfully “take out” the shooter. Being “forced” into a situation also forces one to act. There are many examples of persons, who one would normally think, would not be capable of acting in an extremely high-stress situation, but DO come out on top–stopping the threat, and saving lives.
All one has to do is look at Medal of Honor recipients, who are almost always mild-mannered, initially reluctant to act, but DO act, and perform feats who most would think are normally beyond their capacity and capabilities–TRUE bravery in the heat of battle. The same applies to those civilians who act during school shootings.
Human nature has a habit of propelling (actually forcing) the normal, average person into a true “hero” and life saver, while showing the true nature of those we assign to protect us. A good example of our “protectors” cowering in fear is the deputies who FAILED TO ACT despite having all of the equipment necessary and the preferential laws on their side (that protect them from lawsuits and liability).
TRUE heroes ACT, while our “protectors” (failed to) REACT.
Most CPL (Concealed Pistol License) holders are MORE proficient in the use of firearms than so-called “law enforcement” personnel. The successful “hit ratios” for CPL holders is also much higher. It is fact that CPL holders shoot more accurately, have much more control, and are, in general much better “shots” than just about any “law enforcement” personnel.
You see, “law enforcement” personnel have “qualified immunity” which shields them from prosecution for their “mistakes”–something that the civilian CPL community does not have. They can shoot with utter abandon as they have their “immunity” to shield them from prosecution. In addition, law enforcement-friendly prosecutors and “rubber stamp” grand juries have no interest in prosecuting “bad” cops. All one has to do is look at the number of (unjustified) shootings by “law enforcement” that get conveniently “swept under the rug” by the “system” ( prosecutors, judges, grand juries, and internal affairs).
If I had my way, ALL public officials, (not just “law enforcement”) would have NO official immunity, would be subject to all laws, just like the rest of us, and would be required to purchase an insurance “bond” as a condition of employment. Police “carve outs” would also be prohibited. Any law that citizens are subject to would also be applicable to “law enforcement”–no exceptions.
Cops have the right to “spray and pray”–a tactic that WILL get a non-LEO locked up for murder or at least manslaughter. LEOs have “immunity” and friendly internal affairs and prosecutors–not like civilians. Most LEOs do not train with “dynamic targets” either.
CPL holders HAVE TO BE MORE CAREFUL because of liability.

5:20 Most of the free western press are cowards.
5:25 Most of our artistic establishment are cowards.
5:28 And that most of our politicians are cowards.

OK, he didn’t mention cops. Great catch. Of course you must have missed the press cowards comment and the politician cowards comment just as I missed the artistic establishment cowards part of his speech. I am glad that you pointed out that cops are in fact not cowards although I suspect that you will have difficulty in proving that as four of them hid behind their cars while a kid killed 17 people in a school. Which of course was kinda the point now wasn’t it.

Yo HR -thanks for posting. In just reading your and Z man’s posts, we must be on the similar frequencies.

I finished a piece earlier this evening that will likely serve as my death warrant one day.

I’ll post it tonight.

More balls than brains, I say. To the very end. Pedal to the metal…
