The added benefit, which nobody ever mentions, is that the Chinese government is gaining control over much of the food supply and that is the most effective leverage for political control. And of course, Chinese human rights are on full display in this process. This is how the Chinese meet their labor demands for the expanding industrialization needs of China as they tighten the noose of political control around the necks of their population. And the Chinese purport to lecture us on gun control and American human rights?
There is an additional political benefit to these ghost cities. If there were ever to be a Chinese revolution against their totalitarian regime, thes outlying provinces would be the prime movers. The ghost cities simultaneously fulfill two needs (1) conscript industrial labor; and, (2) reduce the political threat from the outlying provinces.

The Real Chinese Agenda
As previously reported on The Common Sense Show, the United Nations inked an agreement with the UN, under Obama, to allow UN troops to patrol the streets of America in times of civil unrest. China is the only country that I know of that can amass a 200 million man army as predicted in the bible to be brought against us in the end time. Many of us have written about the intention of moving the American people into confined areas in stack and pack high rises under Agenda 21/30. It stands to reason that an outside force such as China would be given the task of disarming the population.

BL is not alone in believing this is a reference to China. After all, which other nation on earth can muster a 200 million man army? Well, I think they are wrong. Of course.
First the minor reasons.
1) The obvious one … “China” is never mentioned, either in it’s current name, or any other name.
2) The above situation is a case of exegesis vs eisegesis. Exegesis “is the process of drawing out the meaning from a text in accordance with the context and discoverable meaning of its author. On the other hand, eisegesis “occurs when a reader imposes his or her interpretation by reading into and onto the text.”
3) The logistics and cost of feeding, arming, and transporting an army of 200 million is extremely daunting, if not impossible, even in our modern age. It’s also totally unnecessary with, you know, nukes and missiles and bio-warfare and shit.
4) Revelation is highly symbolic. Applying literal interpretation to symbolic language can, and does, lead to great errors.
5) The China interpretation is very very recent. For about 1,900 years NOBODY identified the 200 million as coming from China. Interpreting Scripture based on Current Headlines may be fun, but it also often leads to erroneous conclusions. The China interpretation is dependent on Dispensationalism, a uniquely American interpretation.

Now the major reasons.
6) Look closer at the passage. Rev 9 says NOTHING of an army from the East.
7) Rev 9 DOES speak of a demonic horde that destroys one third of humanity.
8) People combine Rev 9 (200 million army) with Rev 16 which mentions “Kings of the East” (must be China!). However, Revelation 9 occurs after the sixth trumpet judgment; while the battle of Revelation 16 occurs after the sixth bowl judgment ….. three and a half years later.
Conclusion: The evidence for China is one short verse in Revelation. The totality of the evidence that it is NOT China is far more convincing.

Those 200 million are IN the army. How many people in the civilian workforce does it take to support one troop? Let’s say it is only 5. That means 100% of China’s resources are dedicated to the military. Is that even feasible, ever?

A long time ago I did some calculations ( now lost) on transporting 200 million troops from China to Israel. I believe I used 30 troops per military transport vehicle, and allowing space between trucks … I believe it was 10 feet.
Result? It turns out the first truck would arrive at Armageddon while a bunch (forgot how many) were still parked in Peking!!

There is a large Chinese business presence, certainly, as many of the shipping lines are Chinese companies.
