SURELY A SIGN OF ECONOMIC STRENGTH

Can Trump blame Obama?

US-bankruptcies-chap-11-2018-03

Chapter 11 bankruptcies in the US spiked 63% year-over-year in March to 770 filings, the highest number of filings for any month since April 2011 (when there had been 789 filings as companies were still trying to emerge from the Great Recession), based on data from the American Bankruptcy Institute.

a sad economic indicator: folks have to finance auto repairs to keep their car on the road to get to their crappy jobs. [imgcomment image[/img]

Major auto repairs on most modern vehicles (engine, transmission , collision damage, etc.) can easily run into several thousands of dollars. Most people don’t have that much readily available cash to use for them so financing makes sense, it is more a sign of the costs of repair than simple overall economic conditions.

People spend what they get way too fast on non essentials and save far to little to have a “rainy day” cash stash of any size.

As I drive about in my daily routine there seems to be more and more Retail Space for Lease . The help wanted signs are generally part time minimum wage jobs . OK now tell me about the friends son or daughter that is well educated and has a great job etc … good for them 95 MILLON good jobs to go at and increasing need of about 150,000 per average month … now what ?? I have always believed President has the right idea , he is just 30 to 40 years to late !
Make America Great Again : OK I am all in but with who and with what ? WD40 and a sears wrench made in CHINA

So, assuming your scenario being correct, what do you suggest be done to change it?

Truth is, the way it was figured before they started fudging the numbers (i.e. lying) unemployment right about now is 22%. Nothin’ to cheer at.

How do you analyze that and how do you collect your data to establish it at that rate?

I certainly don’t see anything like that much unemployment anywhere around me, even the welfare rolls are significantly declining where I am.

No, because Trump took over Jan2017 and he just got $1.3 Trillion to blow (which he is blowing). However, most of us saw this coming 10 years ago and God help us if Harpy was at the controls steering US into the NWO Abyss.

He isn’t blowing it yet, he seems to be trying to do something about it and redirect at least some of it to worthwhile projects if the Court will let him get away with it.
