It’s ironic – the government produces nothing – yet it taxes inventions, for instance: Communication taxes: telephone, internet usage, DirecTV, Sirius XM tax. Even though they are private companies, once your product get’s large enough sales – wham – our ‘elected’ slime buckets figure a way to legally tax it. Christ – DirecTV and Sirius are just microwave ‘signals’ – nothing even tangible.

I’m waiting for Eric Peters to do an article about some company that is going to help the government tax pussy.

You funded all the research and development which was then handed to private industry. Seriously, if you think Suckerpig developed FarceBook…

How far back would you like to go? Roswell? Was it JFK who said $Trillions for research, not a cent for Joe Sixpack.

Government invents nothing. You can Google these:

Ethernet was developed at Xerox PARC between 1973 and 1974

Alexander Graham Bell and Charles Sumner Tainter invented and patented the photophone, a telephone that conducted audio conversations wirelessly over modulated light beams (which are narrow projections of electromagnetic waves). In that distant era, when utilities did not yet exist to provide electricity and lasers had not even been imagined in science fiction, there were no practical applications for their invention, which was highly limited by the availability of both sunlight and good weather. Similar to free-space optical communication, the photophone also required a clear line of sight between its transmitter and its receiver. It would be several decades before the photophone’s principles found their first practical applications in military communications and later in fiber-optic communications

And the private sector did all of this DESPITE the presence of a government that STOLE thousands of engineers to waste on the Apollo program and countless other space/military programs, destroyed the purchasing power of the dollar via the Federal Reserve, disrupted the economy and its “stability” via the Federal Reserve, created barriers to innovation via tariffs and patent protections, destroyed savings via the Federal Reserve, disrupted free trade via NAFTA, TPP, and endless sanctions and tariffs, and so much more. Just think of all the great stuff we might have had thousands of engineers and technicians not been wasting their time at NASA, had our economy not been constantly disrupted by Fed-created business cycles and so much more.

The MPTBAGs, the Men Pretending To Be A Government, invented the most important thing of all – Claimed Legitimacy, repeated with religious fervor and intensity. How else could they use their other tools – Mass Armed Robbery (IRS), Mass Theft (FED), or Violent Domination (the ubiquitous Police and now Blackmail State) and get away with it? Like lead into gold, they turn irrational Written Whim into sacred LAW. Then unleash sadists to enjoy enforcing it.

Clearly we mere mortals are paying attention to the wrong things – physical baubles and conveniences, while our Masters focus on what really counts – the Power game. Paraphrasing Admin: “… the innocent suffer while the Lords play …”.

In the public sector “NOW” picture of the woman, they ought to have a photo of the same woman from the “THEN” picture, but NOW she’s 30 years older, and 30 pounds heavier.

30….I would venture to say she is 100. And they are not even 30 years older. They are about 20 something, tattooed from head to toe, and treat you like THEY are put out by you needing something from them……This goes BTW for DMV employees, and welfare queens equally, as they are both on the same payroll.

It’s perfect that 30 years later the same people are still waiting at the DMV.

None of those private sector products would be marketable without the United States Patent and Trademark Office and also the courts to enforce contracts.

So how do you suggest we protect patents & trademarks (and copyrights while we’re at it) without the United States Patent and Trademark Office? Without this protection it would be near impossible to find investors to back a product.

Says the bottom-feeder who never marketed a product in her life.

“Enforce contracts”?

Fucking hilarious.

I think you mean: “pick winners and losers”.
