A Wip Wondering

I wonder what else Gresham’s Law can be applied to.

I think bad people drive out good.

Depends on the “boundaries” of “good/bad” – especially in a world where “relativity” has driven out “absolutes”.

Who is putting who “in their place”; are people afraid of White or Black areas?

Unless the free market is allowed to operate (meaning free of ALL government/coercive influence), Gresham’s law cannot truly work its magic 100%. To the extent that freedom is allowed, it can be applied to any market exchange in which choice is allowed as well.

The incompetent will work for less than the competent. They flood the job market. Remember the Peter principle.

Yes, but government restrictions on firing, hiring, and countless labor laws, make keeping these folks out of the job market quite difficult. Were employers allowed to test employees (as they USED to be allowed to do before such testing was considered “racist”), or allowed to fire easily (without having to pay out unemployment pay, or deal with lawsuits, etc.) or simply allowed to post clear signs in the HR office that “Idiots need not apply,” the problems would solve themselves quite quickly. Government has incentivized exactly what employers are now forced to deal with….and none of it is good.

Ha, I just quit a job last night. I got tired of a moody b..ch and her go along hub. They would complain and complain about my work and they would do the same thing. Stupid little shit. I figured if they want to be miserable let them. I don’t and I won’t. Hope they like working 15 hour days. The best part, I walked right past my manager and she thought I was going out to lunch. I wish I could be there to see those two not hit it off.
