If you have a Walther PPK .380 loaded with hollow points in a pocket of real loose britches or an oversized coat then should you really worry? When the squawking starts is when you really should inconspicuously slide that hand into your pocket.
Carrying a loaded pistol in your pocket is pretty stupid IMO. They make great holsters for just about any conceivable gun and carry method. That’s just asking for trouble.
Maybe you ought to read about the safety of a PPK. One in the chamber, decock the hammer down, and safety off. Always point in a safe direction when decocking, as Walthers made in stressed times didn’t always have the best steel. First shot is Double Action. That’s one of only 4 semiauto handguns I would touch (PPK, P-38, M1911, and Tokarev M1933). The rest are usually much less. I used to be a F.F.L. licensed dealer, and have seen lots of newer junk.

Supposedly Lexington, VA is a fairly rural place. I would say that restaurant just lost about half of their business. Would you like some whine with that cheese, Monsieur Anonymous?
Lexington is a college town; Washington and Lee and VMI. My wife and I like to drive there in the fall. We eat at either The Southern Inn or Sheridan Livery Inn.
Tis simple,a private business can/should choose whom they want to do business with,no need for lawsuits/any govt. intervention.
That said,folks can choose to boycott said businesses whose decisions/politics ect. they do not agree with.
Many folks called for irs audits/health inspectors ect.,what the fuck,keep govt. out of private businesses completely!

I’ve been thrown out of many bars and restaurants for being a drunken asshole. I didn’t know that was illegal or immoral and I could have sued for damages.
If I owned an eatery I would happily serve any polite, well-mannered customer. The business of business is business. It has zero to do with politics. If I had snowflake workers who objected to serving someone due to political reasons I would tell them to shut up and do their damn jobs.
When did it become acceptable to do this shit. Once was a time people would disagree with you, but would fight to the death to support your right to your beliefs. Now, if your beliefs are not politically correct, or suitably left wing crazy, you get persecuted.

One of the benefits of non voting and non giving a shit, I believe, gives one a truer perspective of events. Not having a stake in the game reduces bias. When it became obvious that it was going to be trump and clinton I thought when two such loathsome, divisive bastards are the choice then democracy in the u.s. was done for. This event is another sign that the foundation continues to crumble. Civility is gone and it won’t return for a long time.
