It’s because we all eat SAD (standard American diet), which is loaded with too many fast carbs. We’ve fallen prey to the food companies promoting low fat diets. This forces us to eat carbs and protein, which are converted in your body to carbs for any protein not needed to build your cells. As such, insulin spikes, which stores your excess carbs to fat. Rinse and repeat. Since we don’t exercise enough on average to use up all of the food we eat, it all goes to body fat.
High fat (OH HORRORS), Low carb diets train our bodies to burn fats, don’t trigger insulin, and are actually good for us. Even saturated fats. Fast carb overload is why diabetes is running rampant. I’m not him, and I’m not trying to spam his site. But, I have been reading it for years. About 5 years ago he decided to get healthy. He has lived this way for years, and I am trying to emulate his success. Google it, and you should find all of his articles on this subject.
In a nutshell, that’s why we’re all so guldang fat. It’s not really Americans’ fault, as much as the crap we’re being fed, along with bad nutritional advice by people who make money selling us the crap.
You don’t HAVE to run Windoze 10, even if the machine comes with it. For a much better operating system, check into Unix, Linux and such.
Or, buy an old copy of Win 7; my current laptop runs Win 7 64 bit, mainly for compatibility with certain engineering software. You don’t have to take what they are giving you, learn a bit and be free.
Anything is better with bacon on it……
