I also became a certified HS Math/Science teacher; Schools of Education turn out some of the dumbest college graduates from the bottom of the barrel, esp Black colleges. The public schools cannot save themselves; vote for vouchers.

My 9yo son attends a school here in Thailand that in many ways resembles the UK grammar school I went to in the early 1970s. They even, with my blessing as his sole carer, administer a slap with a ruler to the hand for incomplete homework. PC is something that happens in other countries and discipline is the order of the day.

No incentive is big enough to make me want to move back to the (y)uk. Even the education system in India (established by the Brit colonizers) is better than England’s these days.

This is one of the reasons the Millennial’s are basket cases: They didn’t receive a ‘real’ education in school – just PC / SJW / Equality bullshit indoctrination.

If your kids are getting most of their “education” from public schools, you are not doing much of a job as a parent. In Chicago, no one with any money would dream of putting his kid in a public school, with the exception of the four “test in” high schools which are full of bright kids from the private schools…The other alternative, if you can afford it, is to move to an upper middle class area where there are no minorities, usually the North Shore, where the public schools are still decent….Home schooling is the best, and is being done in small groups with multiple parents being involved in the Illinois suburbs.

Dangerous people are teaching your kids if you put them in public schools.

If you love your children, put them somewhere else where they will get actual education in place of dumbed down indoctrination.

I recall the story of a couple who bought a small ranch in California, adopted four native American kids, and homeschooled them while working the ranch. All four ended up at Ivy League colleges.

I went to a public school for a short time in the 60’s . It was at the start of affirmative action for the schools. The black lady who was one of the teachers was dumb as a box of rocks. Even the 3rd graders knew this. My mom met with her on one of the parent teacher days and when she came home she yanked me out of public school and sent me to private school .

MOMMY WHY DO I HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL?

So you can be molded into a homogeneous, subservient drone who cannot think outside of the state prescribed consensus. You will learn to memorize and regurgitate propaganda instead of how to think for yourself, so that you don’t become a threat to the status-quo. When you graduate you will get a job, and have a substantial percentage of your earnings stolen from you as part of the statist system of indentured servitude euphemistically called “taxation”.

There is no winning this argument.

The left needs to have additional cities and states they can destroy. The next downturn should be a doozy for high income and high property tax states that can no longer shield high income people with federal tax deductibility..

My kid’s school work is very hard for them and the math requirements are tough. If anything these little future prison inmates have their thug parents as a problem. I do agree there is some social engineering going on. At least in my little town, it is limited and countered by some of the locals.
