GOVERNMENT AGGRESSION

Via Being Libertarian

Above all else, the ideas of Liberty are rooted in the principle of non-aggression.

No one, (and that includes government) has the right to use aggressive violence against another individual’s person or property.

Violence should be legally reserved for self-defense only, and to repel an aggressor only.

Today, government is used *primarily* as an aggressor, with various factions jockeying to get in control of it.

The faction that “wins” then proceeds to run roughshod, steamrolling the lives of Americans, along with a long list of foreign nations and peoples.

The American federal government (along with the state & local governments) have become legislative monstrosities.

Instead of its rightful role of protecting liberty, Americans for a solid century have given government the role of being an aggressive brute.

America’s Founders were on the right track…and the wrong track has been taken ever since.

The ideas of Liberty are FAR SUPERIOR to the statist ideas that dominate today.

When the “state” becomes its own reason for existence, as ours has done these past decades since allowing popular votes of Senators (like Shitstain) to overrule the original intent of giving States another check and balance on the CongressCritters overreach, then the idea of U.S. liberty is nothing but a sham.

The only reason you think that government is the solution is because you think that freedom is the problem.
You were born free, got fuckked out of half of it, and you wave a flag celebrating it.

Remember the badge wearing minions of the state stand ready and armed to the teeth to prevent any free thinking men and women of good moral fiber from returning to the founding fathers documents of liberty and freedom . The court systems the legislators and law enforcement have become a tyrannical self promoting and supporting protection racket . This entire corrupt system was and is manipulated by the circle jerk that is Wall Street to K-Street to Capitol Street .
The just doing my job armed badge wearing minions are already at work for their financial masters . When you can no longer pay the property tax on what you legally own these enforcers will put you in the street for their benefit . In the final outcome you own nothing you are and indentured servant to the state and the support of the minions of the state are all you are good for . When you can no longer do that you are as valuable to them as a Dixie cup !

That is why we need lots of ammo and target practice. We will waste the ammo to practice to pick the bastards off one by one until we can’t shoot any more of them.

Anyone, like me, who has stood against powerful tyrants and survived knows the war is winnable, but the terrain forever changed.

The current governments and multinational businesses are run by psychopaths and sociopaths. This fact is not taken into account by any alternate philosophy of governance. Even if we were able to put one into place, e.g. a democratic republic in 1776, the psychopaths and sociopaths would immediately, if not sooner, start working out ways to circumvent it to their own purposes. Since anywhere from 1 to 10% of the population (depending on who you listen to) is psychopaths and/or sociopaths even killing all of the current crop wouldn’t fix the problem. Besides, if we kill all of the psychopaths and sociopaths doesn’t that make us the sociopaths??? Bottom line is we’re screwed and the best we can hope for is that they screw up enough the large governments and businesses are fragmented. Any single person or group of people would have much less power in that case and we’d have a period of time before they got control again.

Guess I’m exceptionally cheerful today, have a nice day!

When the man said the price of liberty is “eternal vigilance” he was on target.

I think one definition of truth is when the romantic and pragmatic arguments for a concept align. Liberty is a fundamnetal truth of existence, because what right does one have to rule over another (romantic) and it just fucking works (pragmatic), it does the most good for the most people, Period.

If nothing has changed since Tacitus spoke those words, one would have to conclude this is baked in the cake of organized society and governing bodies. America was a great experiment, it could be saved but not as long politicians are above the law.

https://freebeacon.com/issues/democrat-congressman-wants-taxpayer-funded-dorms/
Democratic members of Congress want taxpayers to subsidize their housing, signing onto legislation that would allow them to deduct living expenses for members of the House of Representatives. Thompson has also proposed turning a vacant building near Capitol Hill into apartments for House members at the expensive of taxpayers, which critics have dubbed a “Congressional Animal House.”
